750ml Bottle. Very nice well balanced strong ale. Poured with nice creamy head and aroma full of malt character. Full bodied and flavorfull with just enough bitterness to balance. Drinks very easily and definitately worthy of a repeat visit. Boulevard continues to impress and I look forward to further offerings.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Serving: 750 ml. bottle from Total Wine Sterling. It pours a hazy, ruddy, dark brown with a thick, light tan head. The nose is slightly spicy with bread and yeast notes. The flavor is a little sweet with nice caramel malt, toffee, and fruitcake notes. Surprisingly dry finish. Medium to full bodied. Nice brew.

2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Tap at JL Beers in Fargo. I see that this is pretty well like, but I just can’t get buy the initial over-roasted to an icky bitter grain. Actually stopped and handed to someone else.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
pours a deep reddish brown with lasting finger of tan froth, good lacing, looks like a stingo to me. Aroma of hazelnut, roast, banana, cocoa powder, caramel, flavor of lightly toasted nuts, with a lingering roasty finish, notes of banana and subtly bitter chocolate. Medium bodied. Not as good as sam smith stingo but a fine brew nonetheless.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap - this one poured a dark brown color, some ruby notes - with a small thin, tan head. Aroma was some light sweet malts, some toasted notes, caramel characters. Flavor was nice and malty sweetness, not too heavy thankfully, sweet brown sugar, light toffee character. Very enjoyable.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Shared at November tasting. Poured clear brown with a gold hue and a minimal light tan head. Nose was on the sweet side, the taste seemed more balanced between the bitter and sweet. Overall interesting, what I expected from a collaboration like this.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours an opaque brown with two finger tan head. Caramel, roasted, wood malt flavors that are fantastic. I can detect hints of cocoa and pepperiness. Herbal hoppy background. Mildly sweet initally then overtaken. Fully body with soft carbonation. Long mildy smokey finish. This is a well crafted beer that is insidiously well balanced given the ABV.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap and snifter served at Lunar Brewing Co., displaying a darkest brown, with some ruby highlighting, a modest layer of off white head foam that quickly broke down to a thin ring and film, and a few light spots & strands of lacing. The aroma started with a low and slightly burnt, dry roastiness, coffee, caramel, dried fruit and malty sweetness, some vinous hints, and light tartness. The flavor advanced the tartness, and offered some dark cherry, moderate and somewhat lingering hop bitterness, light syrupy aspects to the texture, a medium body, soft carbonation, fairly hidden alcohol presence, and a dry finish that retained some of the hop. Kind of a blend of a few Stout characteristics with a mild but dry Old Ale. Would have liked to sense more oak effect, but was quite tasty nonetheless.
