fly (1331), austin, Tejas, USA Mar 10, 2009 Think this was actually meant as a tribute to my life lived in a trailer, but it is most certainly not trash. Highly enjoyable. I need to either ship the other bottle I have or drink it as I don’t generally think IIPAs should be aged, waolsen (1220), Littleton, Colorado, USA Mar 7, 2009 bottle at Falling Rock. dark copper pour with thick off white head. Fresh pulpy citrus in sweet aroma. huge great bitter hops. caramel, piney, resonous. light warming. very nice. Butters (1622), Virginia, USA Mar 5, 2009 Pours a clear dark reddish amber brown with large fluffly rose-tinted khaki head. Nose of caramel, and a decent amount of aromatic hops. Great malt backbone balances out the intense floral hops. Some fruity notes as well. A little piney and grassy on the finish. EXCELLENT! Great balanced beer. tdcritch (112), Missouri, USA Mar 4, 2009 This is probably my favorite beer. It has an amber orange color pour and you can smell the hops as soon as you open the bottle. It has a nice thick white head. The flavor is citrus and grass and you feel it move through your nose as your drink it. A wonderful IPA. arrogantb (695), Denver, Colorado, USA Mar 3, 2009 I’m not sure why this is listed as an IPA since it is clearly a double but who gives a shit right? nice orange color with a superb head liek whipped cream that just won’t die. It smells like spicy hops, cinnamon, weird. The flavor is almost all malt and not bad until a funny plastic flavor shows up that I usually get from Belgians. Is this beer supposed to have brett (God I hope not) because I think that is what I am tasting. This beer was not bad but I would have been better of saving my $8 for a sixer of Odell IPA.

This a delicate yet complex mix of piney and spicy hops, a bit of caramel sweetness peaks through before a bitter hop finish. This is a well-balanced ipa that has a nice, slick mouthfeel and smooth carbonation. Overall, this ipa is not like the giant hop bombs as the hops offer more flavor that straight up bitterness, but it is insanely drinkable and enjoyable, and still complex. I didn’t really expect a lot, but very pleasantly surprised. GodOfThunder (855), Orlando, Florida, USA Feb 27, 2009 Ahhh... held this one a little too long. You could still taste the potential, but it was a little sweet. Still a strong flavor, with a bit of grassiness, but the hops just weren’t right. Bummer. Braudog (3733), Dayton, Ohio, USA Feb 24, 2009 Bottle, caged and corked. Sedimented/partially opaque copper beer with a semi-foamy top. Almost a sour aroma. Funky farmhousy beer with almost a sour edge. Not sure I’d call this an IPA, but an interesting drink nonetheless. (#3531, 2/23/2009)
