Feb 27, 2009 Pours a reddish amber with a big, fluffy head. Aroma is sweet and spicy, sugar cookies, pine. This a delicate yet complex mix of piney and spicy hops, a bit of caramel sweetness peaks through before a bitter hop finish. This is a well-balanced ipa that has a nice, slick mouthfeel and smooth carbonation. Overall, this ipa is not like the giant hop bombs as the hops offer more flavor that straight up bitterness, but it is insanely drinkable and enjoyable, and still complex. I didn’t really expect a lot, but very pleasantly surprised.

Feb 27, 2009 Ahhh... held this one a little too long. You could still taste the potential, but it was a little sweet. Still a strong flavor, with a bit of grassiness, but the hops just weren’t right. Bummer.

Feb 24, 2009 Bottle, caged and corked. Sedimented/partially opaque copper beer with a semi-foamy top. Almost a sour aroma. Funky farmhousy beer with almost a sour edge. Not sure I’d call this an IPA, but an interesting drink nonetheless. (#3531, 2/23/2009)

Feb 19, 2009 Not bad, but unremarkable. By no means a bad IPA, but not better than Samuel Smith’s by a long shot. Certainly not worth the $10 I paid for it. I wouldn’t discourage anyone from getting it, but don’t expect a religious experience or anything.

Feb 16, 2009 Dark copper red in color with a large, cream colored head. Aroma is of strong hops and grass. Taste is hoppy and citrusy with a "mouth-full -of-grass" sort of flavor.

Feb 15, 2009 bottle: pours a good clean amber colour with a huge white pithy head. arima is a good clean hop aroma with plenty of citrus and awesome malt, slight floral and hint of honey. flavour is well balanced with plenty of malt then a smooth hop flavour and just a touchof bitterness. just fantastic balalnce.

Feb 15, 2009 750ml bottle corked and caged courtesy of theisti. Pours a nice looking light amber orange with a thick lively head that leaves behind a great lacing. Nose is well balanced with grapefruit, apricot, and resiny pine hops. Taste is just as balanced with just the right amount of malt coming trough, for me. This is a wonderful IPA; thanks for sending this my way Tim!

Feb 15, 2009 Bottle. Poured a cloudy orange color with a off white head. Smelles of citrus and caramel. Tastes similar but with some pine notes.
