Jul 28, 2008 Massive head. Poured a clear amber color, with a very hoppy aroma. Flavor was a little malty with a subtle grapefruit taste. Overall very good.

Jul 27, 2008 batch d8107. deep amber pour with a huge cream head. slight piney hop notes along with some earth tones. slight malt flavor along with grapefruits with a small hop flavored finish and aftertaste.

Jul 27, 2008 Huge head. Not bad but certainly not great. Harsh hoppy bite on this one. Sort of stings the tongue. This one got better as it warmed up but then again my palate might have just adjusted to the harshness. I do dig the 750ml though.

Jul 27, 2008 Large offwhite head, good retention and plenty of lace to go around. Hazy, orange body with darker edging. Fat hop nose of citrus, pine, somewhat floral and some lightly sweet malts backing them up. Med/full bodied, nicely resiny and heavily coating, maybe a bit too coating? Lotsa hop flavors mostly juicey orangey citrus, melons, grapefruit with a solid malt backing, nicely fruity. . A big hop blast lingers in the long bitter finish. Props to mreusch for the corked and caged 750.

Jul 26, 2008 Sweet, strong aroma of pine and fruits. Looks good, reddish glow to it. Yeah, flavors of orange and lemon along with bitterness of the hops. Not a great beer but I love IPAs so it does it for me.

Jul 25, 2008 Deep red, lots of foam. Nose barely there, a faint hint of pine, bit resiny, but not much going on. Flavor . . . there’s supposed to be hops here, right? I mean, kind of hoppy, definitely bitter, but more just harsh than anything else. Bit of pine, I guess. Lots of malts, sure, but they’re kind of flat, kind of sweet, but not much going on. Weird cookie-ish finish to it, gets incredibly dry. Does have a really nice palate, which just makes me say "there should be more going on here than there is." Really a pretty sucky IPA.

Jul 22, 2008 Bottle from Sean. Thanks pole smoke. Sean claims he brown waxed all of my bottles by sticking them in his ass. Does that make him more flamboyant than most people I know? Yes. Anyway, after struggling to get the cork out of this one (sean lodged it too far in), it suddenly popped off filling the air with alot of hops and sweet smells. Taste is smooth, not really bitter, and something like, honey in it. Fruity and sweet, and really good actually. I have drank a few beers from these guys, and most of them are good. This one is exceptional. Very nice stuff! Thanks Saclyn.

Jul 21, 2008 Copperish color with a light colored head. Taste of malt and pine carries throughout the brew. Not too bad, Would rather go for a Bells or Stone in my opinion though - the Double Wide seems to be missing something the more you drink. It becomes rather boring.
