Commercial Description:
Double-Wide I.P.A. uses Zeus and Magnum hops for both bittering and aroma with Ahtanum hops added for aroma. There are two additional dry hopping regimen, employing Ahtanum, Centennial and Chinook hops. The resulting beer is hop forward aroma, redolent of peach and apricot. The assertive flavor bursts with the citrus qualities of blood orange and lemon with a slight caramel malt backbone to balance the intense hop flavor. There is little restraint in the flavor of this beer; it is certainly not for the pedestrian palate.

750ml bottle. bottled 7 months ago. thanks gregis for this one. pours hazy reddish amber with white head. nose is very faintly hoppy and slightly medicinal. flavors are sweet caramel, grapefruity. drinkable, straightforward and sweet. i’ll have to try again fresh. this isn’t a double ipa?

Pours a reddish amber with a big, fluffy head. Aroma is sweet and spicy, sugar cookies, pine. This a delicate yet complex mix of piney and spicy hops, a bit of caramel sweetness peaks through before a bitter hop finish. This is a well-balanced ipa that has a nice, slick mouthfeel and smooth carbonation. Overall, this ipa is not like the giant hop bombs as the hops offer more flavor that straight up bitterness, but it is insanely drinkable and enjoyable, and still complex. I didn’t really expect a lot, but very pleasantly surprised.

Big grassy, pine hop aroma, very nice in that its big yet different from your standard West Coast Hop Bomb, very aggressive hop bittering is the first thing you notice, citrusy in nature, like you are sucking on an orange peel, pretty much overwhelms any attempt of the caramel to balance. Again, very enjoyable, because of its huge hoppiness, done up in an unique way

Dark copper color with a medium head. Lots of pine and citrus hop aroma. De-freakin-liciuos bitter hop taste. Tons of orange peel. Thick malt base.

750ml bottle Table Rock. Pours a cloudy brownish orange with fat three finger head that lasts and a little lace. Aroma of a lot of hops, leaning on the orange citrus side. Flavor is of a complex hop character still heavy on the orange with notes of lemon and spice with a nice sweet caramel malt wash in the back and a bite of bitterness in the finish. A little rough on the palate, but not overweming or aggressive. This is too big to be an IPA and more of an IIPA. Any hop head, IPA, or IIPA fan should try

Bottle. Dark red pour with a massive head. Piney hop aroma. Flavor of herbal and citrus hops. Very malty for an IPA. Thick, malty mouthfeel.
