Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange, mandarin, mango. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20091229]

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin light orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and grapefruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, grapefruit, and oranges, leading to a dry bitter finish. Thanks Storm for sharing.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Storm. Slightly hazy, amber golden with a dense, creamy, off-white head that leaves some lacework. Fresh aroma of citrus and pine. Medium body, a little low in carbonation, sweetish caramel and a dry but not overly bitter finish. A very smooth and not overly extreme Double IPA. 110108

75 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a dense white head. Pine needles and fruity notes aroma. Flavour is fruity with a slight liqourice note. Softly balanced with a nice fruity and some sweet malt flavours. Fruity and sweet at once without being overly so. Soft finish which reveals a slight note of dryness.

Bottled@The Chriso Gaylord tasting. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood and some slight notes of grass. and toffee as well. Flavour is fruits, nectar, some toffee, caramel malts and also quite bittery towards the finish.

Cloudy orange coloured with a huge off white head.
Fruity aroma of pine needles, caramel, hops and grass.
Fruity flavour of pine needles, hops, grape fruits and caramel.
Dry hoppy finish.
Well balanced, not to hoppy and not too sweet.

(750ml bottle) Pours a light hazy amber body with a moderate off-white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon, light toastiness, floral, and grass. Flavor of grapefruit, pine, and caramel with a bitter finish.

Bottle at Chriso Gaylord tasting 09. Another one of Ken’s specialities, cheers mate. Cloudy gold, thick lasting beige head. Good hoppy sherberty aroma. Pretty good, nice malt, the swallow is excellent. Finish hops are balanced and some harshness. Decent DIPA, very drinkable. Good tongue sting. Good and would happily have had the whole big bottle to myself.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity hoppy grapefruit aroma. Sweetish malty hoppy bitter grapefruit flavor. Has a hoppy bitter grapefruit finish with a long bitter aftertaste.
