Commercial Description:
Double-Wide I.P.A. uses Columbus and Magnum hops for both bittering and aroma with Chinook hops added in the whirlpool. It is dry hopped with generous amounts of Cascade, Bravo, Centennial, and Chinook hops. The resulting beer has a hop forward aroma, redolent of peach and apricot. The assertive flavor bursts with the citrus qualities of blood orange and lemon with a slight caramel malt backbone to balance the intense hop flavor. There is little restraint in the flavor of this beer; it is certainly not for the pedestrian palate.

Dark red, rusty color. Large head response that is frothy and lasting. Gorgeous aroma! By far the best part of this brew as it is full of sweet hops and fruit. Maybe strawberries? First sip leaves a large tingle on the tongue. Several flavors are packed into this beauty. A strong pack of hops is immediately felt, followed by sweet hints and alcohol. Even more flavors apparent on the finish. Lingering hop bitterness that edges into a bready taste. Some sweetness still lasts. The strong bitterness on the finish is the only drawback to this beer.

Bottle thanks to funkybrewster. Pours a murky sand colored orange with a tall white sudsy foam, very sticky lacing. Aroma of toffee, slightly skunked, seemingly a touch sourish malts. Flavor is mostly the same, toffee with dry piney hops and a touch of peachy hops. Medium bodied, lightly sugary and gritty.

Thanks to phillybeer2112! bottle was 6 months old, but still great! Hoppy nose, citrus, piney. Pours golden amber with a white head. Hoppy flavor, piney, with some citrus, a very good balance.

As nice an IPA as I have ever seen. Medium brown in color and cloudy with a big fluffy two finger tan head. Sticky and thick lacing. A nice aroma seems to show no Cascade hops. Instead, it is sweet fruit and caramel. Flavor is, again, sweet fruit and caramel. Not a hint of bite in the hops but very pleasant and smooth. I wondered why the beautiful bottle and higher price. Now I know. This was a top tier IPA.

12oz bottle acquired in trade. Hazy melon color with a big white fluffy head of tight white bubbles and lace. Really nice looking beer. Aroma is an attractive citrus hops - I can tell it is going to be chewy and juicy. My impression was right on. The flavor is a juicy resiny bitter hop body. Its a bitter IPA but pretty enjoyable.

Dark copper red in color with a large, cream colored head. Aroma is of strong hops and grass. Taste is hoppy and citrusy with a "mouth-full -of-grass" sort of flavor.

25.4 oz bottle. Lightly hazed orange brown with a yellowish beige head and lacy garlands. Nose is mandarin orange, zest and pear nectar. Medium light, buttery with dull carb. Taste is orange and peach with caramel. Quinine, peel, soap and pepper as it dries.

750 ml bottle. Thanks to drewbeerme for this one. Pours a dark orange amber with a thick fluffy beige head. Aroma is toffee and biscuit malts with faded hops coming up behind of citrus and grass. At first sip I’m really enjoying this beer. After Bell’s Big Head, this one is drinkable and its cleansing my palate. But it grows too sweet quickly. Citrus, lemons, slight grass, and biscuit malts. Theres a touch of yeast/dough pepper spice. Not bad, but not that good either.
