Aroma of fresh grapefruity hops and sweet caramel malt with some piny floral character. Body starts fairly full and well carbonated with a nice malty sweetness and fresh citrusy hop balance. Finishes full and bittersweet with a touch of warmth. A pretty nice IIPA, thanks to csbosox for the bottle. fly (1334), austin, Tejas, USA

Highly enjoyable. I need to either ship the other bottle I have or drink it as I don’t generally think IIPAs should be aged, Ungstrup (15489), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 19, 2007 Canadian Festivus. Foamy head on dark cloudy orange. Aroma of hops and citrus. Very drinkable and enjoyable. Lots of citrus thorought the sip and the glass. The alcohol is subtle. The malt is gentle and picks up in the middle and lifts the hops to the finish. 55 IBU seems restrained for 8.5% ABV. kyzr (1132), Belgrade, Montana, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 22, 2008 Bottle from Sean. Thanks pole smoke. Sean claims he brown waxed all of my bottles by sticking them in his ass. Does that make him more flamboyant than most people I know? Yes. Anyway, after struggling to get the cork out of this one (sean lodged it too far in), it suddenly popped off filling the air with alot of hops and sweet smells. Taste is smooth, not really bitter, and something like, honey in it. Fruity and sweet, and really good actually. I have drank a few beers from these guys, and most of them are good. This one is exceptional. Very nice stuff! Thanks Saclyn. sersdf (1000), chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Nov 30, 2008 purchased this 750 in iowa city at john’s grocery. all i remember about having it was that it was pretty hoppy, the hops were fresh, and i liked it a lot. since i’m in pursuit of 1000 and ratebeer has been down so much lately, shitty ratings will have to suffice here and there.
