Commercial Description:
Double-Wide I.P.A. uses Columbus and Magnum hops for both bittering and aroma with Chinook hops added in the whirlpool. It is dry hopped with generous amounts of Cascade, Bravo, Centennial, and Chinook hops. The resulting beer has a hop forward aroma, redolent of peach and apricot. The assertive flavor bursts with the citrus qualities of blood orange and lemon with a slight caramel malt backbone to balance the intense hop flavor. There is little restraint in the flavor of this beer; it is certainly not for the pedestrian palate.

12oz. bottle "Double Wide IPA" courtesy of theisti. Fresh citric, fruity, floral hop aroma, full of lemon, grapefruit and pine, with background notes of fresh hay, lightly musty, toasty malts and a touch of sweetness. Deep amber color, lightly hazy, with a thick, creamy, lasting head and lace to match. Flavor is sweet and fruity to start, some light orange and honey, becoming hoppier throughout with a lingering, resinous, bitter, citrus finish. Smoothly oily and gently acidic mouthfeel, generous fine effervescence, with a medium-full body. Seems to be crafted from a blend of several American hop varieties, perhaps 4 or 5 of the usual suspects. Very drinkable.

12oz bottle acquired in trade. Hazy melon color with a big white fluffy head of tight white bubbles and lace. Really nice looking beer. Aroma is an attractive citrus hops - I can tell it is going to be chewy and juicy. My impression was right on. The flavor is a juicy resiny bitter hop body. Its a bitter IPA but pretty enjoyable.

Thanks to valpoaj for this - pours a hazy dark orange, with a soapy, lasting head - earthy hops hit the nose first, and stay center stage, as fruity notes of apricot, grapefruit and peach latch themselves onto some biscuity malt and spicy/zesty herbal character - the flavor is much the same - starts with peppery hops, which diminish a little bit so that grapefruit and orange peel tartness can come forward, followed by a balancing malt sweetness - zesty and herbal in the finish - a little thin-bodied for something this strong, but pretty tasty.

Large offwhite head, good retention and plenty of lace to go around. Hazy, orange body with darker edging. Fat hop nose of citrus, pine, somewhat floral and some lightly sweet malts backing them up. Med/full bodied, nicely resiny and heavily coating, maybe a bit too coating? Lotsa hop flavors mostly juicey orangey citrus, melons, grapefruit with a solid malt backing, nicely fruity. . A big hop blast lingers in the long bitter finish. Props to mreusch for the corked and caged 750.

Bottle shared with Blankboy, Hogtown Harry, and Garthicus. Dark orange, big fluffy white head with lots of orange tints. Great aroma, a ton of hops and some malt. Taste is really good and more of the same - a DIPA with a lot of malt to balance it out. Simple, straight forward and damn tasty.

This brewery is hammering some dingers. This is a very good (1.5X) IPA. Creamy with grapefruit. There is more hop than bitterness. The balance is terrific.

This is the best of the Boulevards to date. From the tap it pours a cloudy amber body with a modest ecru head. The aroma is some sturdy PNW hopping, mainly grapefruit with a hit of lemon zest along with some pine. There’s an underlying caramel sweetness to the flavor, but the taste overall tips towards a satisfying hoppy bitterness. It finishes on a prolonged citric bitterness. Nice.

Bottle courtesy of tjthresh. Pours copper with a tan head. Smells of perfume, oranges, caramel, tea, some pine resin. Tastes earthy with lots of sugary hoppy hints, oranges, pepper, some nice bitterness. Enjoyable.
