Commercial Description:
Boulevard Dry Stout is velvety black and perfectly opaque, and topped by a thick, creamy head. This very drinkable, delicate beer is a delightful harmony of smoky roasted flavors with a silky smooth finish. Now available in bottles.

Tried this on a layover at KC International Airport, not bad, but would never buy this outside of KCI. WAY too thin and watery for a stout, although it was pretty dry as the name would suggest. Not a great beer, but better thatn the other options at the airport.

Dark brown/black, opaque appearance with a light tan head, which dissipated quickly. The aroma is primarily dark roasted malt with some element of fruitiness. Flavor is robust, with a smoky roasted malt taste. Very clean finish, with a slight coffee aftertaste, but not an unpleasant one.

12 oz. bottle courtesy of jimbowood. Thanks Jimbo. Pour appears black (actually deep garnet when held to the light) with a small disappearing beige head. the aroma is roasted malt and light fruit. The flavor has the same roasted malt as the aroma with some hints of smoke. There is also light chocolate. The finish is rather short. It is dry as advertised. Lighter than I would like. Not bad overall.

Thanks to KAggie97 for this bottle. Dark brown/black with flat cream head. Smoke and roast on the nose. Strong smoke flavor with roasty malts. Thin body...and a bitterish coffee after taste...although finishes pretty dry. Nice beer.

12oz bottle, courtesy of Trevor @ BCTC 2007. Thanks! Pours a dark brown color; light tan head with good lacing. Cocoa and roasted malts in the aroma. Creamy, lightly carbonated, velvety mouthfeel: nice roasted malts, cocoa and dry chocolate; very drinkable. Medium, cocoa and dry chocolate finish.

Bottle (BB 08/13/09). Head is initially average sized, frothy, light brown, mostly diminishing. Body is dark brown to black. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (roasted grain, cocoa, husks), lightly hoppy (herbs), with a light note of minerals. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly acidic, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A straightforward, quaffable example. Noticeable noble hop aroma. A little rough/grainy in the malt department.
