Pours very dark brown (just barely hints of ruby and brown shine through it) with a thick, hilly, dark tan head that seems to last forever. The aroma has hints of burnt toast, some hops, and some coffee. The flavor starts off bitter and burnt with a bit too much carbonation tingling the tip of the tongue. The middle finds some toasted malts and hop bitterness interplay. Also slight flavors of caramel and dark chocolate emerge and hide in the background throughout the finish. The finish also has just a hint of dryness in the end with a mild after-taste of predominantly hops and burnt toast. The mouthfeel is thick - and has considerable carbonation - almost stinging as you swish it around your mouth.

Bottle, but have had on tap many times before; pours dark black with a thick tan head. Mild roasted malt aroma with hints of burnt coffee. Bottle provides more carbonation than expected, with a thin, dry finish; tap gives this stout more appropriate thickness that stands on its own. On tap this is a great dry stout; very weak from a bottle, so a bit of a split rating. Boulevard used to, and should keep this available tap only.

Pours very dark, almost black, with a crimson hue and a good sized tan head. The aroma has rich roasted malt with some char. Medium body with some soft carbonation. Starts with roasted malt and hints of dark fruit. The finish brings in some spice / woody hops that mix very well with the malt. A very well made dry stout.

Pours dark, with thin head. Sweet aromas. Taste of chocalate, short duration, no distinctive ending. Kind of thin mouthfeel.

Black pour wtih a thin creamy head of tan. Aroma is is not very distinctive. Mild roast. Flavor is roasty with a dry finish. Actually, there is a pretty weird flavor. Kinda twangy. A nice stout, but not stand-out. Nice body.

Pours Dark with a bubbly, tan head. Choclately notes, thin mouthfeel, maybe to cold, have to see while it warms. A little burnt chocholate, and quite dry, not really gettin to much thicker...

via trade with Beerdrenched - Pours a deep brown color with a small light tan head. Has a musty, roasted malt aroma. Has a very light roasted malt flavor. A dry, light to medium body beer. Wortha try. Thanks eric.

The aroma had me thinking that I was holding a glass of sweet stout, lightly roasted malts, fresh coffee, creamy milk chocolate. Good looking brew, regardless of style - a dark, dark brown with a creamy light brown (not tan) head. There’s a hint of smoke in the flavor of the roasted malts. Another daub of chocolate and some iced coffee adds to the taste. Moderately dry finish. Not shabby.
