Commercial Description:
Boulevard Dry Stout is velvety black and perfectly opaque, and topped by a thick, creamy head. This very drinkable, delicate beer is a delightful harmony of smoky roasted flavors with a silky smooth finish. Now available in bottles.

Pours dark opaque brown with mahogany highlights. Thin cinnamon colored head. Smells lightly of sweet roasted malt, light sweet spice? The first thing you notice is that the mouth is very carbonated, overly so. Masks the flavor. Some lightly roasty dark malt. Kind of limp and watery, no creaminess or driness in this dry stout. Lackluster overall.

12 oz bottle via ericmc83. Dark mahogany pour, almost black. Very small thin and quickly fading head. Nose is black patant malt with hints of coffee. Light roast flavor with a slight sourness on the finish. Fairly thin and rather fizzy on the tongue despite bottle conditioning makes the mouthfeel a little distracting. Nothing really wrong with this, but Dry Stout usually isn’t the most mind blowing of styles. This probably would be good on nitro.

Pours dark, with thin head. Sweet aromas. Taste of chocalate, short duration, no distinctive ending. Kind of thin mouthfeel.

poured a very dark brown with a fair diminishing head. aroma was smokey and taste was thin with weak roasted chocolate notes. would have enjoyed more if it was bolder.

Bottle from Hy-Vee poured into english pint - Pours almost black with a very slight hint of ruby and a one finger brown head; A little chocolate, roasted barley, and plenty of coffee to the nose; Mostly roast and coffee on the initial taste with some burnt chocolate; Lightly bitter roast and sweet malt aftertaste; Medium-full body; Too much carbonation; Yep...it’s a stout. Not too complex, but a stout that’s worth trying!

Pours black with medium tan head which dissapates quickly. Aroma is roasted malt some coffee tones. Flavor is straight roasted malt almost expresso-ee. Smooth though a little to carbonated. Finishes quite dry. overall ok dry stout that is thirst quenching.

Pours a dark black brown color with a small tan head. Nose is roasted malt, coffee, and chocolate. Taste is roasted malt, smoke, chocolate, coffee, brown sugar. Finish is medium and mouthfeel is medium to thick. Drinkability is somewhat low. I like my dry stouts more refreshing.
