Tried this on a layover at KC International Airport, not bad, but would never buy this outside of KCI. WAY too thin and watery for a stout, although it was pretty dry as the name would suggest. Not a great beer, but better thatn the other options at the airport.

Was expecting a bit more body than I got. Had it on nitro after the brewery tour. Poured a nice black, with a caramel and eggshell head. Smelled like coffee and chocolate. Light and roasty in its taste. Light body, but smooth (attribute that to the nitro). Pretty average, but still good.

Aroma of roasted malt with a hint of coffee and chocolate.
Taste of chocolate and coffee with a bit of dark fruit. There is a mild bitterness and a dry finish.

This is a great stout so its a shame its so difficult to come by these days. My understanding is that its on tap a few places in KC, but otherwise its tough. Dry, black as night, with a very easily drinkable character.

On tap. Black color, creamy stable head, good lacing. Itís got a slightly more complex taste than similar style stouts (Guinness) - coffee. Light body, really easy to drink. B-Vard keeps cranking out winners.

On tap @ TapHouse in Seattle, nitro. Handsome dark brown with a dense creamy nitro head that is a permanent fixture. Nearly no aroma (thanks nitro). Simple, lightly roasty profile, thin mouthfeel. Just okay for me-- too cold, too thin.
