COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Entwined Ale is the first production batch of a test beer formerly referred to as Nelson. While the recipe was adjusted slightly from the original tests, the use of Muscat juice remains the focus. The juice was combined with pale malt in the brewhouse for a beer that is light both in body and in color. It was hopped exclusively with a New Zealand hop variety called Nelson Sauvin, known for its tropical fruit and white wine-like aromatics. This unique session ale has a refreshing, slightly tart finish.

I donít much like this. It pours kind of an apricot color with a little bit of suds. The aroma is white grapes. The flavor is white grapes, too. Like a mild, slightly tart white wine. Boulevard is usually pretty reliable, but this beer isnít very good.

Bottle @ home, picked up as a single at Liquor Max Loveland. Clear light yellow appearance with a white head. Very grassy, herbal, floral nose with a bit of pear. Light body. Low to moderate sweetness. Dull bitterness. Apple and pear flavors. A touch of tartness. Pretty grassy. Kind of corny. Not hard to drink but also not all that enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours a pale yellow color with white head. White wine, grape juice, and a touch of herbal hop aromas. White wine and grape juice dominate the flavors with crisp straw and floral hops lending additional notes. A refreshing beer with more flavor than you would expect from a 4% beer.

UPDATED: AUG 26, 2014 Warner Robins, Ga - 12 oz bottle. Slightly hazy light golden pour, very light white head. Aroma has some white grape accents. Flavor is somewhat bland with some white grapes, a touch of celery-like vegetable notes, some soft buttery notes. Mouthfeel is thick enough. Nothing to get excited over.
