Boulevard Ginger-Lemon Radler is a zesty, refreshing take on the tradition of mixing beer with soda or lemonade to create a light, thirst-quenching beverage ideal for warm weather. Radler (literally “cyclist,”) takes its name from active German sportsmen of a hundred years ago, but our version tastes just as good even if you do nothing more strenuous than lifting it to your lips.

Beautiful hazy yellow color. Two to three finger white head. Aroma is all about the ginger; the smell comes through so strong to me it reminds me of Vicks vapor rub. Taste is a good balance between the lemon and ginger. Feels great in the mouth; perfect carbonation. Overall I’m surprised by this beer in the most wonderful way. Fantastic.

12 ounce can poured into a pint glass. The beer is a hazed copper color with a white head of foam. The aroma has strong ginger and lemon character. The ginger is really nice in this beer. Lighter in body and medium carbonation.

On tap @ Congregation Long Beach. Hazed yellow pour with white foam. Huge candied ginger and lots of lemon. Some lime zest and a little bit of wheat bread. Super juicy and fresh ginger flavor. A lot of candied ginger and citrus zest. Super flavorful. Crushable.

Well looks like I need to drink some of these things now. Light hazy greenish yellow pour. Nose is lemon and ginger unsurprisingly. Tastes of lemon, wheat, ginger, lime and cheap soda. I would drink this if I had a belly ache.

I know, I know. If you’re a real beer aficionado, you’re not supposed to admit you like a radler. But darn it this is good. Nice lemon flavor works well with the wheat beer. Ginger is perceptible but not overpowering. They balanced this one out to make a nice, refreshing summertime drink. You could enjoy a case while sitting on your porch on a hot Saturday.

12oz can from Kroger in Granview: murky yellow pour, thin white head. aroma is straw, lemon, grassy. tastes are lemon, ginger, wheat. faint tart. little spice. medium carbonation. pretty straightforward - don’t have a lot of radler experience, but suits my tastes well enough.

Sunny, festive can. Misty, blonde, not much head. Nice ginger aroma, not too sharp or spicy, some pickled notes from the acidity. Palatable sourness, ginger is well done, lightly sweet, earthy on the back of the tongue. Slippery mouthfeel, lightly acidic finish. Probably the best radler I’ve ever had. ABC Liquors, Betton.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Betton - 12 oz can. Hazy light golden pour, no discernible head. Aroma has some lemony accents, a hint of ginger. Flavor is refreshing, with some lemon Popsicle notes, just a hint of ginger. Mouthfeel has a decent spritz to it. I like the can - could handle slurping down a few of these on a hot day at the beach.

Cloudy straw color, with a moderate, bigger bubbled, diminishing, white head. Ginger dominates the aroma. Nearly a CO2 type burn on the sniff. Lemon peel and slight sweet malt in the background. Lemon marmalade in the flavors. A little ginger bite. A chutney quality that I am not sure if I am in on.

Excellent radler. Love the wheat beer base gives it a little something different than most radlers. The hint of ginger makes this super refreshing in the summer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
