3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy light straw with a fast-fading, fizzy head. Gose-ish aroma of mostly slightly sour lactic notes and lemon zest and a hint of ginger. Zesty and spritzy body with a medium-full dull graininess, particularly on the finish. But the start has a nice pop of lemon and sweetness, fizziness, and a whisper of ginger candy. Good, not great. Ever so gently sour.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy yellow pour with a brief fizzy head. Nose is fresh lemon, ginger, and just a hint of toasty malt. Mouthfeel is light. Initial sip is lemonaid and ginger ale. In the finish, the malt backbone is finally apparent. Still tastes like beer. A good balance between sweet and tart. Crushable.

Ginger Lemon Radler might be the ultimate in hedonistic summer treats. Full disclosure: I’m wary of Radlers but love Ginger Beer. Boulevard’s creation tastes like Ginger Beer mixed with Lemonade. And I mean that as a compliment. Everything from the citrusy, spicy smell and the sweet and spicy taste are amazingly refreshing. This is liquid candy for adults. With booze. But with little enough booze to be sessionable. Do they sell this in 12 packs?

A- Ginger, lemon.
A- Yellow color, hazy liquid, white head.
T- Ginger, subtle lemon, wheat.
P- Light body, average texture, medium carbonation, refreshing finish.
O- Boy, this goes down well and goes down quick. Basically tastes like a ginger beer with a hint of lemon. I could down a six pack after mowing no problem. Would be good used in a Moscow Mule.

Pours a cloudy straw gold with a big eggshell head that settles quickly to a thin film and leaves a couple spots of lace. Nose involves ginger and lemon, with some light toasted malt and wheat notes. Somewhat sweet, fairly tart. Light and airy body, watery, lightly oily, decently active, with a drying tart finish. Refreshing, enjoy the twist with the ginger.

Smells like lemon-scented dryer sheets, tastes like lemon-ginger soda pop. There is an NA lemon weizen radler from Paulaner that is not much different. Sweet, acidic, artificial tasting (lemon candy, lemon cough drops), grainy / wheaty, citric acid and the bite and flavor of ginger seemingly the same. I don’t have benchmarks for Radler and I don’t care.
