Like many American burgs, our town was once home to a number of small, regional breweries. As they disappeared, so too went the full-flavored but easy drinking classic American lager. Today, we salute these bygone breweries and revive their legacy with Boulevard Pilsner: 100% malt, real hop character, unpasteurized. Itís the taste of tradition.

Pours pale yellow with a medium white head. Smells sweet malty with a touch of spicy hops. Taste is lightly bitter with a crispness that moves to sweetness. Light bodied with a smooth texture and active mouth-carbonation, Boulevard Pilsner finishes crisp with a slight grain sweetness.

It poured a pale golden color with an average white head. The aroma was of grain and malt. The taste was clean, crisp, sweet with just a touch of hops.

Absolutely the best pilsner you will ever drink. Everything down to the bottle is perfect.

Pours pale gold with no head. Aroma is feint hops and caramel malt. Taste is a good balanced pilsner. This is a nice lawnmower beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Yellow-gold with sizable head that nonetheless recedes rapidly and leaves only sporadic lacing. Aroma is floral and grassy - enjoy it before the head dies. Taste is pretty light - little bit of nice hops-kick, but itís very short-lived. That is the ultimate problem with this beer - everything just goes by too fast. You can sip this for summer, sure, but you can say that about a lot of better pils beers, too. A tad disappointed with Boulevard here.

Draft at the source. Clear golden color, small white head, solid lacing. Aroma of light pepper. Taste is peppery straw.

Poured into a wide flute. AMAZING. Perfect tall white head on top of golden straw colored lager. I have not seen a pilsner look like this since I left Germany. Normal smell: faint fruit, banana and honey. Very smooth throughout. Watery at first, sweeter, touch of bitterness at the end. It does not have the typical pilsner "bitter hop bite," which I do not particularly miss, but others may. Smooth, easy drinking. Low carbonation and crisp, light body. A perfect hot day drink or after a run. Crisp and refreshing while having a good flavor.

On tap. A nice gold color and foamy white head with a crisp, almost honey aroma. The flavor is crisp as well, with lots of pilsener malt and a sweet aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Good easy drinking pilsner. Has a little after taste that holds on. Overall it is best served ice cold. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
