COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sour characteristics come to the fore in this release, foreshadowed by the tart, winey aroma. Notes of cherry, chocolate, olive brine, and leather give way to a subtle hint of funk and a dry, clean finish.

75 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is smooth fruity and mild citric. Fruity, citric and smooth fruity. Light citric and tart finish.

THE Sour and Saison tasting. Hazy amber beer, little pale tan head. Smooth palate, a little dry and soft. Cherry vinegar sourness and a little lemon acid. Not too severe but could not drink much of this!

Bottle... This beer rocks!… Hazy burnt-caramel ale with no head. The aroma offers caramel, toasted barley, an assortment of berries and lactic acid. Full-bodied with stinging carbonation. Super-tart, fruity, black cherry and sour cherry flavor. Finishes, tart, bready and lightly bitter. Bottle generously shared by biggsbowler! Rufus? Randall? He’s the man!

Bottle courtesy of RobertDale, thank you sir! Hazy caramel color, large tan head that settles quickly. Aroma of sour plums, grapes. Taste is peaches in white wine, apricot. Very nice.

750 ml corked and caged bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a small lingering amber head. Aromas of carmel, citrus, barnyard funk, bourbon, oak and light vanilla. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry tart finish. Flavors of carmel, citrus, barnyard funk, bourbon, oak and light vanilla with a crisp dry tart lingering funky bourbon finish.

Flavor is tart lactic grapes, plums, cherries, light malt, light hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle (multiple). Pours with a hazy golden hued body with a small white head. Aromas are bretty, funky, grainy, unripe fruits, olive, huge oak, wine, cherries. Flavors are tart, and big, dry, vinous, oaky. Very warming, wine, tannins, cherry and leather. Lively carbonation, warming and dry.

Reddish color with an offwhite head. Aroma of cherries steeped in an old balsamic vinegar and some new leather shoes. Flavor is lightly sour, some of the leather comes through in the flavor and some cherries as well.

Bottle at THE Sour and Saison Tasting, London. Pours hazy, brown-gold with a light, white foam head. Some sweet, bready malts in the nose, light tang. Medium sweet flavor with some vinegar character, light leather and ripe berries. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Moderately dry to finish with light warmth, some more leather, brown bread, light vinegar, berries. Good, biting tartness in here, with some lovely nuance.
