Enjoyable clean flavor. Sour was powerful, but not overpowering. All around wonderful!

Bottle at Dan’s house. Pour is hazy peach in appearance with a small off-white head. Cherry, peach skin, tannin, fruit pit, light cheese, spice, barnyard, and leather in the aroma. Taste is super sour, heavy acetone, light vinegar, peach, tannin, oak, and yeast with a long-lasting acidic finish. Light body with medium carbonation. Nice sour!

Bottle @ Dan’s house. Thanks Steven! Hazy dark orange appearance with a small off white head. Mild whiskey, spicy cinnamon, vanilla, oaky, red fruity, tart aroma. Tart cherry, tart berry, woody, leather/tannin, vanilla, quite sour, dull whiskey flavor. I’m quite surprised that I enjoyed it that much.

Caramel colored with a red/orange tint. The aroma is caramel, cherries, chocolate, and oak . Tart flavored, sour cherry and oak and leather up front. Finishes bready and alcohol really comes through at the end. Very nice beer !

Awesome beer. Super sour with cherries and a hint of green apple. A little oaky wood in there too. Nice bit of funk. I would love to try this one again with a couple years of aging.

Being the first sour ale I,ve had this was quite the experience. The initial aroma was very tart and wine like. After a few sips of this deep orange brew I was convinced that sour ales are a breed all their own in a good way. The finish to love child 2 was bitter yet dry, sour yet refreshing, and vinous in its feel. I liked it! Good job Boulevard... As usual!

750 thanks to Holly. I’m pretty sure I smelled this year’s ago on a tour. Cherry and vinegar. A nice brown tartness to this beer. Some red grapes. A bit of that so called leather in nose. Very nice.

Bottle... This beer rocks!… Hazy burnt-caramel ale with no head. The aroma offers caramel, toasted barley, an assortment of berries and lactic acid. Full-bodied with stinging carbonation. Super-tart, fruity, black cherry and sour cherry flavor. Finishes, tart, bready and lightly bitter. Bottle generously shared by biggsbowler! Rufus? Randall? He’s the man!

Pours hazy ruby-tinged mahogany into a tulip. Off-white head bubbles and quickly recedes to hug rim leaving scant lacing. Sour pit fruit aromas. Sharp and tart with cherry upfront turning to earth and brine in the lasting finish.

Bottle corked and caged, poured a nice light amber color, with aromas of light cherries, light booze, some funk, and a touch of leather. Flavors of a tart cherry dusted with some coco with some light booze injected. Not overly sour, not overly boozy, the perfect blend in my book. Glad I got this bottle in a trade.
