Clear amber brown with no lasting head really. Smell is funked wheat with no citris or anything to it. Just reminds me of a muted Hefeweizen. Flavor is a touch watered down but has that spiced yeast aspect to it. Mouthfeel is average but a bit on the weak side. Nothing very spectacular.

Weird stuff. I was not expecting a weizen. Nothing on the label suggested that it was such. Anyway, pours a rich, very deep copper with a weak head that soon vanishes. Aroma gives up standard weizen aromas of citrus, clove, banana and bubblegum. Flavor is also basically weizen with a hint of the darker malts of a "dunkel" but not a lot. Citrus tartness is a bit overwhelming. Not quite in balance, but overall pretty adequate. llcooldave (193), San Antonio, Texas, USA Nov 29, 2008 Thanks to the powers that be for bringing Dark cloudy brown in color. Thick foamy head. Yeasty aroma from the get go coupled with a yeasty malty flavor. Not too bad of a brew but nothing too exiting either. astrofrk (95), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Nov 28, 2008 Cloudy Amber. Fast creamy head. Aroma: Yeast, malts, hops. Flavor: The same with a hint of dried fruit. Clean finish. jefcon (873), Arlington, Virginia, USA Nov 21, 2008 Cloudy and reddish orange in color. Has a light yeast aroma and a supple spicing/acidic background. Hazy, very drinkable, and a little sweet on the finish. Mixed palate -- sweet/bitter/fruit/malt -- all jumbled up on the tongue. AllAboutStout (595), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Nov 16, 2008 Pours brown in color with no head forming on the pour. A bit of light peaks through the edges and adds a reddish tone. Smell is all roasted malts.
There is a definite spice and lemon flavor going on in the taste. Characteristics and flavor closely resembling a wit. Decent twist on the style. However with the flavors, I’m expecting something very light, crisp and refreshing.
Another uninspiring beer.
