COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The smooth, soft maltiness of Boss Tom’s is complemented by a restrained hop presence. The mild warming quality of the beer makes it perfect for days when there is still a bit of a chill in the air. The beer finishes with a lingering dryness, and just a hint of caramel. Pale, Munich, Pilsner, Caramel and Wheat malt. Hallertau and Perle hops.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and some fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, hay, and a bit of minerals, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light.

12 oz. bottle to dimpled mug. Pours golden with small white head, but lots of bubbles throughout the drink. Bready malt and grains, maybe some toffee. Nicely balanced sweet with a bit of a bite in the finish. Lite mouthfeel but not watery. Good Heller Bock.

Clear bright goden, with a pretty small white head. Good lager aroma of biscuity grains, toffee, and cereal. Taste was bright and crisp. Toasty pale and munich malts, biscuit, with a kiss of caramel at the dry finish. Tasty, and pretty refreshing.

Boulevard Boss Tom’s Golden Bock has a thin, white head, and a mostly clear, golden color, with lots of fine particulate matter floating about, an enormous amount of streaming bubbles, and little lacing. The aroma is of sweet bread, clean water, and a touch of hops. Taste is sweet, bready, hoppy, grassy, and good. The mouthfeel is light and watery, and Boulevard Boss Tom’s Golden Bock finishes crisp, clean, easy-drinking, and refreshing. Overall, I really like this and recommend you give it a chance. RJT
