Nice lighter tasting IPA, very clean, very crisp, nice hop profile as well, more of a golden color, leaning towards a pils but definitely an IPA, well done

4.8 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
Pours hazy orange with a large white head. Smells strongly of citrus. Taste is bitter citrus peel, and fruity citrus. Medium-bodied with a slick texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Boulevard Mid-Coast IPA finishes with a soft lingering bitterness.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz into a stemmed belgian, pours a light golden hay, head is fluffy, full and large, then simmers but still ranges in 3-4cm with plenty of lacing. Aroma is piney, fresh, clean, and a delictable mix of of hops, but not a hop bomb I was expecting, just a pure ipa here where freshness prevails over a hop slap to the face. Taste is lighty carbinated, hops run flat on the pallate and are there but are missing a nice finishing hop. Im getting sap, pine, ripe citrus, particuarlly orange, and soil. i though I was getting a stand out from this cool mix pack, but its just a run of the mill session ipa, not bad, but not super.

An epic blend of hops gives this IPA a world-class flavor. Currently only sold in a mixpack, this beer warrants individual release.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly hazy, pale gold pour with a 1 finger, creamy white head. Aroma is nice, lots of citrus and mango and passion fruit heavy tropical fruit, some spiciness and a touch of floral and pine, biscuit a little caramel and toasty, dough, yeasty bread. Flavor is loaded with biscuit, toast, sweet citrus, pine, tea, melon and passion fruit up front, then some bitter citrus, caramel, bread, under ripe melon, mango and some spicy, fruity and lemony-citrus hops to the finish. Light to medium body with a creamy, and juicy to chewy entry, light to medium strength, blanketing and sharp carbonation and dry, maybe slightly astringent finish. I really dig this stuff. It’s loaded with my favorite hop notes and has a nice mouthfeel that might end up a little on the astringent side, but for an IPA with 5.6% and this much hop character I can live with "mmmaaaaybe slightly astringent" for sure. Please, oh please put this in 6-packs for a decent price, Boulevard. I promise it will sell... to me at the very least.
