4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Slightly hazy, pale gold pour with a 1 finger, creamy white head. Aroma is nice, lots of citrus and mango and passion fruit heavy tropical fruit, some spiciness and a touch of floral and pine, biscuit a little caramel and toasty, dough, yeasty bread. Flavor is loaded with biscuit, toast, sweet citrus, pine, tea, melon and passion fruit up front, then some bitter citrus, caramel, bread, under ripe melon, mango and some spicy, fruity and lemony-citrus hops to the finish. Light to medium body with a creamy, and juicy to chewy entry, light to medium strength, blanketing and sharp carbonation and dry, maybe slightly astringent finish. I really dig this stuff. It’s loaded with my favorite hop notes and has a nice mouthfeel that might end up a little on the astringent side, but for an IPA with 5.6% and this much hop character I can live with "mmmaaaaybe slightly astringent" for sure. Please, oh please put this in 6-packs for a decent price, Boulevard. I promise it will sell... to me at the very least.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle, fresh enough (1+ month to its enjoy-by date). Pours a slightly hazy gold with a good one to half inch of head that sticks around. Aroma of citrus, grass, cereal. Taste is a bit...fluffy? lots of bitter grass and orange zest. Really great balance with a slight malty sweetness. The hop character of a DIPA with the drinkability of a pale ale....not bad at all.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
12 oz from Mile High. Best before August 24, 2014. Pours pretty light colored with a tall, white fizzy head. Holy hops! This is extreme. Huge blast of very fresh and real hops in the nose covering lemon, marijuana, grapefruit and evergreen. Palate is pretty solid and very, very dry. This is not subtle or tasteful, but it is delicious. Great depth of bitter fruits and herbs. Very lemony in the flavor again. Finish is strongly bitter.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Hop forward aroma with notes of pine and citrus. Pours cloudy golden colored with a thin white head and very little lacing. Starts with pine and citrus flavors mingling before getting overpowered by hops. Finishes extremely dry with bitter hops as well as very acidic citrus that lingers on the plate long afterward. Not a huge fan as the beer is quite bitter to me.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Large piney hop aroma to start with, pours a hazy light straw with a large white head. Slight malt sweetness to start, which fades out quickly with the citrus hops and bitterness. Light body, with a bit of a carbonation bite. A nice easy drinking IPA.
