COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nutcracker Ale is Boulevard’s special offering for the holiday season. This hearty, warming brew is a classic winter ale, deep amber in color, with hints of molasses balanced by the "spiciness" of freshly harvested "wet" Chinook hops.

Bottle from elevated with commonmac. Dark plum with bubbly off white head. Subtle smell. Expected more spice nose. Malty spicy and slight hop finish. Slightly warming. Nice mouthfeel and finish. Some dark fruit. Taste seems to change over time. Grows on me. A bit oily. Pretty darn good.

Bottle purchased at Elevated in South Mpls. Plum, deep amber color. Froth is strong on this one. Lacing follows suit. Malt comes through on the nose with some undercurrent hops. Little bit of spice too. Taste leans mostly on malty sweetness after an initial hop hit. Toffee and molasses. Finish and aftertaste have plum, dark fruit elements. Improves as it progresses almost taking on an abbey dubbel feel. This is a pretty solid winter option.

Good strong aroma. Tons of molasses, booze, nutmeg, hops and a dank, after the rain type of smell that just works here. Amber color with a huge off white head. Tastes like hazelnuts, molasses, gingerbread and pumpkin pie spice with a slight hop presence in the aftertaste. Winter in a glass. At 7.8%, I don’t know if I would call it a winter warmer, but this one was very good. Props for being unique; I don’t know if I’ve ever had another beer like this.

A good all day winter beer. Malty sweet. A little bit of spice in the nose and just right at the finish.

Delicious & perfect for the holidays. The aroma is full of hops but the flavor is creamy & smooth! So drinkable at nearly 8%. Definitely recommended for the style & very good overall!

Draught. This is a spicy winter warmer that has lots going on. But overall it is not bad.

Pours cloudy copper color with an off white head. Light nutty malt aroma with citrus peel , yeastiness, and pine. Caramel malt start followed with candied orange peel and yeast spiciness. Some booziness. Finishes pine hop and orange peel. There is almost a orange liquor flavor That runs throughout this beer. Really enjoyed.

Pours a slightly hazy dark amber with an off white head that leaves plenty of lacing down the glass. The aroma is somewhat citrusy, orange peel, spices, and slight hops. The taste is citrusy pine hops up front that does linger. There is also some caramel/brown sugar notes towards the finish.
