12 oz bottle thanks to ben & marti: Pours light chestnut brown with a thin white head. Aroma deep caramel malts, cirtus and piney hops. Hoppy winter beer with a good malt profile. Sweet on the front but slightly bitter and a little sour at the end.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce bottle as shown in the photo. Amber color, steady streams of carbonation. The spice flavor only had a cameo here. There was a subtle sweetness and it was much smoother than most warmers that Iíve tried. Highly drinkable, despite the high abv, yet not highly distinctive in taste. Medium bodied. Overall, nice although ho-hum.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a fairly hazy crimson-ruby with a pillowy khaki-toffee head. Nose is a nice mix of spicy, piney hops with some fruity malt notes, raisin and brown sugar, and some doughy yeast. Taste is pretty sweet, really quite bitter, and maybe a touch tart. Palate is heavier than medium bodied, creamy yet crisp, with a lengthy fruity and bitter hop finish. A nice brew, a lot going on but it all works together. Good fruitcake quality combined with solid hopping. I like this. Nice strength. Itís only "spiced" quality is the fresh hops, which is great because Iím not into the spiced winter warmer type stuff.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Excellent beer. Pours a slightly cloudy amber with a decent off-white head. Citrus and bread in the aroma. Nice and malty flavor with a bit of dark fruit. Decently balanced, and the wet hops come through on the finish. Flavor doesnít linger too much. Medium body with a bit of carbonation on the tongue. Very good winter seasonal.

Pours a cloudy amber with tan one finger head. Spiciness up front which leads to a nice malty, hoppy finish. Hats off to Boulevard for another high quality brew. Try it!

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a somewhat hazy darker amber with a medium sized beige head. Aroma is mostly spicy with some fruity impressions, being apple, orange, and berries. Some caramel notes as well. The taste is a very nice combination of the fruits and caramel malt. It isnít to fruity as to render this undrinkable, but an almost perfect balance. I get a taste almost like a caramel apple. I also get a touch of sweet toffee underneath. Medium bodied with some softer carbonation. There is a bit of tartness at the end here as well. I donít really get the impression that this is a Christmas beer, but thats ok. I enjoyed this.
