COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Nutcracker Ale is Boulevard’s special offering for the holiday season. This hearty, warming brew is a classic winter ale, deep amber in color, with hints of molasses balanced by the "spiciness" of freshly harvested "wet" Chinook hops.

It’s alright, but not some of my fav characteristics blended together. Poured with a nice off white to light tan head and some lace. Color is an attractive medium amber with some copper highlights. Aroma is malty, molasses, a little toffee, and bit of vanilla/caramel. Flavor’s about the same. Good body and carbonation. Kind of a sweet finish. A hint of alcohol at the end of the finish. Not bad.

A reddish-brown beer with a nice head. The aroma is sweet, fruity(berries?), & a hint of alcohol with the taste being the same as aroma.

12 oz. bottle- Pours brownish amber with a thin head and little particles floating around, the aroma is subtle warming spices and a hint of alcohol. The flavor is bitter and somewhat hop forward followed by spices, the beer is very bland actually, it needs something. On the palate the body is thin, carbonation is somewhat high. Overall I wasn’t really impressed with this one, being that it’s called nut cracker you would think it would have a nutty flavor to it, this is just very average.

Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma was a fruity caramel happy sort of thing. Taste was sweet with a bit of carbonation for this style. Overall it was pretty good.

12 oz. bottle to lager glass. Pours dark amber with thin off white head. I get floral hops and a touch of sweet, molasses maybe. Sweet with a hopped finish. A decent winter offering.

Hazy reddish brown with a good size tan head. Grapefruit and spice nose with some malt. Bitter and sweet with some spice on the initial sip. Sweet sticky finish.

Golden amber pour. Medium bright head. Hop forward aroma. Taste is mostly hop spiciness with sweetness from the molasses with a hint of esther in the finish. ---Rated via iPhone

English Pint. Very faint hints of malts. Dark amber color with minimal head and lacing. Taste of malts, hops and a bit of spices. Malty mouthfeel. A nice winter beer.

Brownish color with a thin head. Malty nose and taste. Definite presence of spices (cinnamon?). Some odd fruit flavors as well, possibly raisin. I didn't find the mix that appealing. Certainly not terrible, but far better winter brews are out there.

Hazy brown color to start with. The taste is spice, im thinking nutmeg with some cinnamon? Alcohol is the lasting flavor. Overall very smooth and little bitter and quite drinkable in small amounts.
