A copper-orange beer with a tiny head. The aroma is light hoppy & the taste is crisp hops balanced by the malt. Easy drinking with a decent mouthfeel.

Tasted at Beer Dabbler event in St. Paul. I just simply found this to be weak and watery and not worth more explanation.

Bottle. Poured a clear pale orange with a small off-white head. Aroma was full of floral and citrus hops with a bit of a fruity undertone. Flavor was hoppy with light floral notes and a bit of citrus. A bit of a malty finish.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 FunkyBrewster (1316) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 1, 2009
12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is slightly hoppy with some sweet grapefruit, pineapple and citric and a pronounced honey malt character. Flavor starts with a very fruity and citric sweet character before picking up some grainy maltiness. Slightly bitter and crisp finish. Medium body and a sharp carbonation. A decent pale ale, unfortunately there was no real wow to it that would make me wanna keep coming back to it again and again.

UPDATED: MAY 2, 2011 Poured bottle in pint glass: weak caramel and earthy aroma; hazy amber color; minimal off-white head with some lacing; nice hoppy flavor with medium bitterness and slightly dry abrupt finish, sticky texture with light to medium body, soft carbonation, great drinkability, well balanced, but not very complex if that is what you look for.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 screigh (329) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - NOV 17, 2009
Pours a slightly hazed orange color. Thin white head that lasted with some lacing. Very little aroma. Mostly a thin sweet smell. No hops present in the aroma. Thin malt taste but I can get some hop flavor. It has that weird smoked wood (Beechwood Aged) that I taste in Budweiser. It’s not an off-putting taste, just an observation.

Sampled from 12-oz bottle from Boulevard variety 12-pack. Pours a clear golden amber brew with an average off-white head that dissipates to a thin white ring and some spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus zest, a hint of caramel malt, some light pine and grassy hops. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of caramel malt, grassy and cirtusy hops, and a touch of green vegetable. Finish is semi-dry some fruit with the bitter hops really comes out in the finish.
