COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, well-balanced beer with year-round appeal. A variety of caramel malts impart a rich flavor and amber color, while liberal use of whole Cascade hops adds zest and aroma. Pale Ale is the first beer we brewed, and continues to be a perennial favorite.

Bottle. Pours a large, frothy, off-white head. Lasting and lacy. Clear, amber body with abundant carbonation bubbles. Aroma is of mild floral hops and light bread crust. Light citrus and more floral hops in the flavor. Malts are caramel and little biscuit. Some wood and pear also present in the flavor. Medium, smooth body. Average carbonation. Moderately bitter, clean finish. II wish there were a more prominent presence played by the flavor and aroma hops. The malt profile is very pleasant. Overall a well made, subtle APA. Very sessionable. A tip of the hat to the beer that got me interested in craft beer.

Golden-amber color with a big frothy off-white head. The aroma is malty with some citrus at first that I don’t pick up at all after a few whiffs. The scent also includes hay, grass and a touch of swill. Easy drinking with grassy and malty flavors with mild bitter hops and herbal notes. Kind of ho hum and unexciting but still a decent session beer.

Bottle. Really quiet and really plain. Nothing to make you want to come back to. Started the turn on the mixed pack. I just did not get much flavour out of the dark amber liquid.

12 oz bottle, best by 10/10/09. Pours a hazy golden amber with a big creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is sweet fruity caramel malts with some subdued hops.

The flavor is bready caramel malts, tea, and some fruits with a pretty mild bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium to full with creamy carbonation.

Overall, a pretty good pale ale. It’s a bit mild in the hops for me.

pours a nice amber color with a little floral taste. Not bad I always enjoy a good boulevard beer.

UPDATED: DEC 9, 2011 I really enjoy this beer and have it on hand quite often. Pours an amber color with a tan/white head. Hoppy aroma with a lot of lacing. Great flavor and goes down smooth. Re-Rate: AFter having many pales and IPAs this just doesn’t seem to stand up to many others.

Bottle at home with mes, ian, lucky ronnie and some other party chaps. Alround rating: Pale malt, fairly sweet, yeasty, bit of pear drop, fairly fruity. Not sure about this one.

Tasted against Schlafly APA and Pale Ale in a East/West Missouri Showdown. Pours golden orange (lighter than "amber") with a finger and a half of bubbly off-white head that condenses nicely and laces fairly well. Flowery aroma with light citrus notes and a bit of malty goodness in the nose. Sweet up front from the caramel malt, fading to bitterness from the hop oils. Not a punchy APA, very drinkable with moderate carbonation and a medium-light body. Cheers, Boulevard!
