COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, well-balanced beer with year-round appeal. A variety of caramel malts impart a rich flavor and amber color, while liberal use of whole Cascade hops adds zest and aroma. Pale Ale is the first beer we brewed, and continues to be a perennial favorite.

Bottle: Light golden pour with a moderate sand colored head. Smells of citrus hops and caramel, rather sweet. Flavor is malty and even a bit bready, with some modest dry florals. A little citrus and caramel. I’d think this would make a nice house beer.

Aroma- Bready/biscuit-like, some berry esters, medium herbal hoppiness. Appearance- Good clarity, head is off white and not real creamy. Dark gold color. Flavor- Herbal hoppiness exists immediately and lasts throughout, without ending in intense bitterness. Biscuit maltiness provides a nice backbone. I’m guessing either victory or biscuit malt was used. Great flavor! Palate- smooth, with body that is surprisingly full for Boulevard! The bitteness dries it out a little, but overwhelmingly. Overall- Nice offering from Boulevard. It’s got a great, full body and the flavor is complex enough to turn this session beer into a "sit-back and sip-er".

12oz bottle scored via trade with inkubus27. Thanks Tim! Pours a hazy, copper, orange amber with a thin, white, lacing head. Well balanced aroma of slight pine hops, some grapefruit, crackers, caramel malts. Flavor is very nice, simple but extremely drinkable. Earthy hops, slight pine, slight citrus, some faint tropical fruits. Very earthy. Finish has some lasting bitterness and is a bit dry. Session beer for sure and very nice.

Thanks to Oscbert for this one! Pours amber with a small head. Aroma is very weak and vague, perhaps a little honey, that’s it. Flavor is only slightly hoppy and malty. Palate is greasy with little carbonation. Not bad, but forgettable. Overall, fair plus.

~Pours a clear amber color with lasting white head. ~Sweet caramel malt flavor, some fruitiness. ~Mostly malt in flavor with some berry like hoppiness. ~Medium feel. Bittersweet finish. ~Decent brew, Sweet maltiness. Hops are a bit buried.

12 ounce bottle from the Libation Station in Johnson City, TN. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a medium head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of leafy, citrus hops and caramel. Taste is very similar with a little more leafyness. Medium bodied.

Poured with an off-white head and almost no lace. Looks and tastes force carbonated. I’m prejudiced against the beer as the hops give the beer a grapefruit character that I don’t like. Do pick up some malt in there and that helps. Proly not bad if you like the grapefruit thing.
