COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, well-balanced beer with year-round appeal. A variety of caramel malts impart a rich flavor and amber color, while liberal use of whole Cascade hops adds zest and aroma. Pale Ale is the first beer we brewed, and continues to be a perennial favorite.

Decent Pale Ale. Very simple and not too exciting, but very solid. Caramel malt flavors, good hop bite, etc, etc.

Short, 12oz twist-off bottle. Pours copper color. Thin head. Nice hop amora. Citrus hop with a nice presence of caramel malt. Basic American Pale Ale character. Sweet malt, some caramel and toffee. Layered with pine bitterness. Very sharp hop profile for such a light bodied beer. Enjoyable. I’d look for this beer again.

12oz bottle from HEB at home on January 19, 2009. Wow... poured a great head on this glass. Super foamy atop a clear orange-amber body with thin streams of carbonation. A little cloudy. Sweet, malty, and light hop aroma with a hint of hay. No doubt the caramel has already made its appearance. Very thin on the palate. Clean, light, and not very hoppy. Bitter and grainy finish.

Pours to a light golden-orange with thin off white head that dissipates fairly quickly and leaves okay lacing. Nose is mild and of apples and citrus fruit, with a fairly bland mouthfeel. Taste is more of the hoppy fruit, with just a slight hint of skunk. Finish is short-lived, but oleasant. Not a bad beer.

Pours clear gold/yellow with a small white head. Aroma is pretty weak with a little bit of grass, some citris hop and a touch of malt. Taste is the same with a strange almost lager like taste. Nice and clean easy drinker, but fairly bland.

Bottle poured into a Stella glass. Small head retention. There’s a bit more malt than hops and the flavors are pretty pretty unimpressive and really toned down. Some perfumy hops and a malted sweetness. This beer ain’t gonna piss anyone off.

Bottle, Emporia Kansas. Average and unadventurous, albeit well-balanced APA. Very "midwest" to my tastes - conservative and unlikely to offend anyone, just not likely to make anyone scream its praises either. Unfortunately, I’m not much into balanced APAs or IPAs, hence the low rating.

This is a nice american pale ale. Id say its below Sierra Pale in hoppyness and overall flavor, but its comparable. There is a nice malt balance which tames down the hops, but this is an extremely drinkable, and enjoyable beer.
