COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, well-balanced beer with year-round appeal. A variety of caramel malts impart a rich flavor and amber color, while liberal use of whole Cascade hops adds zest and aroma. Pale Ale is the first beer we brewed, and continues to be a perennial favorite.

I actually liked the lunar ale more. This one still had the fruity citrus and heavier hop addition but wasn’t as smooth. Still a solid ale.

This is a hoppy beer. Too much for my poor ale buds. It’s "OK"

12 oz bottle thanks to Fred. Some citrus on the aromas, but mostly evident in the flavor. Not much maltiness, hops, and water. Just OK

Pours hazy tan, 1-2finger light head, fades somewhat slowly but completely. Aroma is all hops, flavor yields a decent balance slightly to the piney hops side of things. Finish is qick but all slightly bitter hops. Decently refreshing beer a little more hops would go a long way.

Poured on tap at Quinton’s (Iowa City, IA). Much too cold to start. Pours a lightish more pronounced orange. minimal head that dimished significantly. I could barely detect a scent on this beer, also possibly because of the extremely cold temperature this beer was served at. Taste is watery with a sharp twang of hops. Vague hop and caramel malt flavors aside from that. The beer got more inviting as it warmed some more. So-so. Would rather grab a different representation of the style.

Golden orange in color with a dirty white head a finger thick that clears quickly with little lacing. Hint of hops on the nose and a bit of citrus. The flavor is actually quite boring. Not bitter enough for a pale ale. The hops on the nose are not prevalent in the actual taste.

Highly carbonated medium golden pour. Somewhat sweet aroma with hints of hops. Pretty good flavor...malty up front, turning hoppy and bitter and dry towards the end. Carbonation was a bit excessive, but otherwise a pretty good brew.
