COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, well-balanced beer with year-round appeal. A variety of caramel malts impart a rich flavor and amber color, while liberal use of whole Cascade hops adds zest and aroma. Pale Ale is the first beer we brewed, and continues to be a perennial favorite.

Malty, sweet, hoppy. Bitter-ish. Not insanely hopped like Americans seem to like their IPAs. Dry, drinkable, a little thin. A decent session beer.

It had bread and caramel malts in the nose, with a hint of peach. Taste was sweet caramel malts, not much else going on. A bit thin, but had a balanced bitterness.

Appearance is a hazy orange color with an almost beige colored head. Aroma is slight citrus, pine needles and freshly baked bread. It has a blended taste of citrus and bready malts with a fair level of hoppiness. Has a piney aftertaste with a slight bitterness.

12 oz. bottle- Pours semi cloudy with a nice fluffy 2 finger head that slowly recedes. The aroma is floral, grassy, and fruity. The flavor is mellow fruity, mild bitter hops, citrusy, again grassy. The body is medium, but full for the style, carbonation is soft, finish is dry and bitter, very well balanced. Very nice sessionable beer.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2011 12oz bottle, best by Oct 31, 2011. Served at around 45F.

Pours lightly hazy amber with a two finger off white head that leaves a bit of lacing and holds a small cap.

Aroma is a bit of grassy, herbal and citrus hops along with some bready malt. There are some off-putting vegetal and metallic notes. Moderate to good strength.

Flavor is some lemon and citrus hops, grassy and herbal with some bready cracker malt. Off notes of vegetables found in the flavor as well. Moderate sweetness, good bitterness.

Mouthfeel is light/medium bodied, good carbonation.

Mediocre Pale Ale. Not my favorite of the Boulevard variety pack.

bottle... dark gold with lots of burnt orange, really nice off egg shell white head, about two fingers of a great fluffy cap, nice lace too... sweet pale, mango and pineapples with a touch of malt and light hops on the finish, ok a little light and boring... the taste is quite disappointing, thought this was going to be decent, still lots of sweet notes but the finish is vomit hops, I detected a slight bit of bo in the nose but thought it was my sweaty ass, just a sweet boring pale that I can’t recommend

Bottle pours a clear copper with a thin off white head. Scent of caramel and light hops. Bready light bitter taste.

The aroma is strong in hops, which are both herbal and fruity, with a hint of caramel as well. As I sip, I taste some malt as well. The taste has some bitterness and sourness. The palate is interesting; there is a lot of foam being produced as the beer is settling in the glass after being poured. Overall, a great beer. This is one of several beers making me like pale ales a lot more than I used to!
