355ml bottle (Alko Arkadia, Helsinki)
Simple sweet fruity aroma, pretty typical for an American-style Pale Ale. Candy sugary retronasals, again something fruity about it, but also a little earthy, some rusty iron. Otherwise, slightly watery body, and with crisp carbonation. Not much to this, it’s a simple sweet bitter with an acidic bite. A bit dead in the mouth, even though it’s bottle conditioned - probably because it’s too fizzy. I do like the bitter tingle of the hops in the finish though. Could rehydrate on this on a hot day.

My experience with this particular brew is limited, but memorable. I will always order this at a pub if nothing else available is better. Preferred over anything on tap.

Boulevard’s pale is my go to beer, especially in the fall and winter. It’s very smooth and quite tasty. Besides Sierra Nevada’s pale ale I have yet to have a pale ale that competes with Boulevards.
