Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, well-balanced beer with year-round appeal. A variety of caramel malts imparts a rich flavor and amber color, while liberal use of whole Cascade hops adds zest and aroma. Pale Ale is the first beer we brewed, and continues to be a perennial favorite.

Flaske 0,355l fra Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Drukket hjemme 10 Mar 13. Gyldenbrun. Litt uklar. Høyt luftig skum som varer lenge. Bra lacing. Forsiktig - men god fruktaroma. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken er aprikos. Avdempet. Svakt tørr ettersmak.

I mean it's okay. It tastes like a pale ale. It has a strongly tastes like hops. No notes of anything. It just exists. It's not horrible. But it's not good either.

Pours a deep golden with a large and fluffy with a light caramel color. Aroma is fruity / yeasty with very moderate malts and citrus. Dry and still somewhat fruity taste, well balanced. Nothing wrong here, but nothing awesome either.

I keep this on tap at home quite often as it is a local favorite. Not the best pale ale around, but will hold it's own against many. Floral aroma with a nice color. Could use a little more hoppiness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2014 A good pale ale but by no means a great one. The malt profile and the Cascade hops remind me of Sierra Nevada’s Pale Ale. In this case, that’s a bad thing since Sierra Nevada’s ale has a taste that is much hoppier and fresher by comparison. Still, this is far from being a bad selection. I’ll gladly admit to having enjoyed it on many occasions.

On tap at Mayor of Old Town. Appearance: normal white head, frothy, amber to amber-red color, clear. Aroma: mildly hoppy, citrus, flowers. Palate: light body, oily/soapy feel, average carbonation, bitter and slightly watery finish. Taste: medium bitterness, light sweetness. Overall this is a good beer, but not great. Very drinkable though, something I could easily sit down and drink a six-pack of.

Bottled @Kaisla BB 06/2013 Slightly hazy amber color, good creamy off-white head. Citrus hoppy aroma with some dishwater notes. Light to medium bodied. Light citrus, pale maltyness, fruity finish. Quite light although wellbrewed.

One month past its best by date and I would say yes it tastes like it too. Poured a hazy orange, light head, light lace. Kinda some funky old hop aroma going on, like a mix of good and bad aromas, like spice with B vitamins and old malt.Herbal in a b vitamin kind of way.Mild sweet fruit. Taste is full bodied malty hoppy with dated old tasting hops. Some toast/roast like malt. Again that vitamin taste, some fruit, piney vitamin bittering. I would like to try this fresh,as it appears to be a pale ale I would like to pass on if it doesnt get anybetter than this.
