COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, well-balanced beer with year-round appeal. A variety of caramel malts imparts a rich flavor and amber color, while liberal use of whole Cascade hops adds zest and aroma. Pale Ale is the first beer we brewed, and continues to be a perennial favorite.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a nice white head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and hops, leading to a dry finish.

IPA Glass. Great looking beer, lots of pillowy soft head, lacing, and a nice copper color. Odor of hops is pleasant but a bit light. Nice sweet hops taste, finishes bubbly and a little thick. I really enjoyed this beer.

Iím not even a fan of the pale ale style and I thought this brew was great. Nice complement to my meal as well. No overpowering tastes- great way to cleanse a palette as well. Light hop zest with mild maltiness but not much sweetness- perfect pale ale!

Bottle from Systembolaget. (Bottle is six months old). Pours somewhat hazy amber with a small white head. Aroma is mainly herbal (dill) and floral, light orange and peach, some malty notes as well. Taste is sweet floral with a medium bitterness in the background not overpowering the sweetness and finishes with a sweet kick before a dry herbal bitterness settles in. Medium body .

Well constructed pale ale. Piney hop aroma leads to well balanced malty pale ale with Cascade hops front and center.

Appearance: golden to dark orange color, thick and dense off white head, Aroma: hints of hoppy grass, very faint bitterness, pine, citrus, a bit faint smelling all around Taste: hoppy, citrus, some moderate bitterness, grass, can also get some roasted malt flavor, possibly some smokiness from the malt Palate: pretty highly carbonated, feels light on the tongue, leaves a grass bitter aftertaste Overall: this is an excellent pale ale, I wish I could get it here, besides the aroma being a bit faint it delivers every other way ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Although I am biased, because I live and breathe in KC, this pale ale is much better than its ratings. Accordingly, I donít do the mouthfeel, taste, color thing -- while I certainaly appreciate all attempts to deciper the secret meaning of those fruity smells and frothy heads. Out of hand, this is my go-to beer, year round, and I love it. Didnít love it at first because I was a íseriousí beer drinker. As a ínormalí beer drinker who strives for freshness and awesomeness, it is KCís finest.
