2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 hopscotch (8215) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - JAN 23, 2005
Bottle... Hazy, golden ale with a small, creamy, white head. Great retention. Fruity aroma with notes of apricot, citrus, and butterscotch. The flavor is a bit sweet and fruity. The hops never really kick in as one would expect from an APA. Light-bodied and creamy with medium carbonation. Short, fruity, dry finish.

Draft. Clear deep golden color, small white head with good retention, solid lacing. Aroma of grass and light citrus. Taste is bitter grass and pine.

355ml bottle (Alko Arkadia, Helsinki)
Simple sweet fruity aroma, pretty typical for an American-style Pale Ale. Candy sugary retronasals, again something fruity about it, but also a little earthy, some rusty iron. Otherwise, slightly watery body, and with crisp carbonation. Not much to this, it’s a simple sweet bitter with an acidic bite. A bit dead in the mouth, even though it’s bottle conditioned - probably because it’s too fizzy. I do like the bitter tingle of the hops in the finish though. Could rehydrate on this on a hot day.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 rlgk (7446) - Skövde, SWEDEN - SEP 19, 2012
Bottle at Bishops Arms, Skövde. Golden/copper color with à nice offwhite head. Hoppy grassy aroma, fruity, metal, grapes, citrus, some sweetish notes. Malty floral flavor, a bit artificial, fruity, perfume, grass, some pear. Bitter hop finish. A bit unclean and not really my favorite pale ale.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 BeerandBlues2 (7418) - Hanover, Maryland, USA - MAR 29, 2009
Bottle. Pours hazy dark orange with an average, fizzy, white head, somewhat diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (husky grain, cereal, meal), average hops (flowers, grass), heavy yeast (sweat) with notes of butter and wet paper. Medium bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter-dry-spicy finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

Moderate piney hops with moderate bready malts and that typical Boulevard fruity aroma. Small, creamy off-white head with good lacing. Body is clear and vibrantly orange. Flavor is weak. No real bitterness, no real taste. Watery texture with lively carbonation.

A Mes rate. Bottle thanks to Tom. Pale amber with a thin off white head. Fruity all round with a faint peppery alcohol note. Dull and cardboardy. Nothing happening at all. Standard bitter finish. Very boring all round.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 CaptainCougar (7093) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - MAR 2, 2003
Bottle RAF: Clear golden color with a sweet dandelion aroma. Good balance between soft sweetness and bitter flavor. Some complexity is lacking though.
