COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Pale Ale is a smooth, fruity, well-balanced beer with year-round appeal. A variety of caramel malts impart a rich flavor and amber color, while liberal use of whole Cascade hops adds zest and aroma. Pale Ale is the first beer we brewed, and continues to be a perennial favorite.

Bottle (courtesy of jetzler). Sweet orange/pineapple hops and strong malt aroma. Cloudy orange yellow color with small head. Fairly bland flavor - watery malt and light hops. Aroma showed some promise but taste kind of let me down.

It’s has been a few years since I had this last, all appears that little as changed, Bottled: Poured a slightly hazed amber hue with small but lasting head and very good lace. The aroma has notes of caramelized malting and biscuit, fruity and aromatic hops, some pine and grapefruit esters, and quite an earthy and yeasty nose. The taste is smooth and balanced with equal parts bitters and sweet malts with a undertone of citric and bready character. The finish is a touch astringent and has soft but lasting bitterness. The feel is overall quite average but goes down easy and quickly. A solid entry into the style, not some hopped up near IPA version, a true APA. Enjoy and thanks Chris for sending me a bottle.

Slighty hazed dark amber color with a fairly small head. Citric hops aroma with only a touch of malt. A medium body. Cascade dominates with undertones of caramel malt. A very typical american pale.

12 oz. bottle, pale ale color with nice head, not a lot of hops, kind of watery, these were best before 3/08 so maybe late for this

This pale ale pours a orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied Pale Ale. Malts are fruity, caramel and sweet. Hops are grapefruity, citrusy and piney. Nice balance. Lively carbonation. Crisp finish. Would make a good session beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Sampled from 12-oz bottle from Boulevard variety 12-pack. Pours a clear golden amber brew with an average off-white head that dissipates to a thin white ring and some spotty lacing. Aroma of citrus zest, a hint of caramel malt, some light pine and grassy hops. Taste is medium bodied, with flavors of caramel malt, grassy and cirtusy hops, and a touch of green vegetable. Finish is semi-dry some fruit with the bitter hops really comes out in the finish.

Bottle (12oz). Via trade with mreusch. Quite cloudy and bubbly in the glass, amber-hued and a decent tightly foamy lasting smallish off-white head. Good sweet and floral aroma, tangerine, peach and roses, a bit herbal. The taste is also quite floral, perhaps a touch soapy, astringent cereal grain takes over for the fruitiness of the nose. Average chewy body, light carbonation for all those bubbles, a little dry in the squeaky finish. A solid APA, no complaints from me!

Pours a hazy orange-amber color with a medium off-white head. Thin lacing. Aroma is lightly hopped and a little citrusy. Medium-bodied and crisp with a decent hops flavor through and through. Very little malt but it is there. The finish is crisp and rather hoppy. This beer really does nothing to offend, although it doesn't really take any chances either.

UPDATED: APR 4, 2005 An old standby of mine and a great session beer. A dark gold body with plenty of carbonation. Smoother on tap. The aroma is citrus and dark bread along with some fresh cut wood. The taste is fruity with peaches and oranges. Maybe my palate has changed, but I thought this used to have a hint more bitterness.
