craftycarl21 (244), South Hero, Vermont, USA Jul 4, 2008 tasted on a trip out of state to nashville. solid aroma of hops, malt, and citrus, and a hint of darker fruit, like plum. Flavor consists mostly of hops and citrus, with a nice full mouthfeel at first sip, lingers nicely. A good pale ale.
AllAboutStout (595), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Nov 16, 2008 Another offering from the 12 pack sampler I purchased.
Poured a murky dark gold in color. Plenty of spotty lacing left on the sides of the glass.
Smell is mostly balanced with the hops and malts working together. There is a bit of spice coming from the hops. Taste is refreshing, carbonated and smooth.
Very easy drinking pale, but not interesting enough to warrant trying again. ghouseguy (20), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Oct 22, 2008 Draft. Really nice beer. Great hop aroma and flavor. Nice citrus tones. This is a pale that make you want to have another. bitbucket (1601), Kirkland, Washington, USA Oct 19, 2008 Bottle, thanks to mreusch! Pours clear dark gold with a thick pale yellow head. Light aroma, mostly citrus. Medium body and carbonation. The citrus and toffee come through more in the taste. Dry hoppy finish. Not a bad example of the style. tronraner (1480), Maryville, Tennessee, USA Oct 9, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours hazy brass color with fizzy off-white head. The aroma is orange, some iced tea, melon, and a faint herbal note. Flavor is some citrus and herbal hop bitterness, with a carbonic sourness and a somewhat strange dusty, caramelly finish. Dark caramel lingers in my mouth for quite a while after. Ok. lumpsowers (87), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA Sep 30, 2008 Hoppy, with a decent malt finish to balance. This is nothing special for a pale ale, there are many better examples out there.
