tompete (63), Burlington, Iowa, USA Mar 31, 2008 Solid orange/brown color. Fine white head. A light hop nose. Drinks with a full very smooth bitterness with a clean slightly malty finish. Well balanced and very easy to drink.
tronraner (1434), Maryville, Tennessee, USA Oct 9, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours hazy brass color with fizzy off-white head. The aroma is orange, some iced tea, melon, and a faint herbal note. Flavor is some citrus and herbal hop bitterness, with a carbonic sourness and a somewhat strange dusty, caramelly finish. Dark caramel lingers in my mouth for quite a while after. Ok. lumpsowers (87), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA Sep 30, 2008 Hoppy, with a decent malt finish to balance. This is nothing special for a pale ale, there are many better examples out there. llcooldave (180), San Antonio, Texas, USA Sep 27, 2008 Soapy looking head and cloudy honey in color. Very easy drinking. Slightly musky yeasty aroma but its faint enough to be able to ignore. Clean hoppy flavor thats not overpowering and lends itself to the easy drinking quality. Overall, not the most complex beer out there but this could be a good session beer. Nice! Butters (422), Temporarily in Nashville, Tennessee, USA Sep 22, 2008 Hazy amber pour with dissapearing spotty white head. Some caramel malt in the nose. Not overly floral, but definitely has a hop profile. Fairly decent pale ale. maltdog (432), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Sep 17, 2008 Bottle. Near-clear traffic light amber, appropriate carbonation, short soapsud head. The nose combines lemondrop PNW and woodsy/cheesy/Fuggley hops, plus wet slate or iron. Also scents of cherry pie and buttery malt. Not bad, but weirdly unexpected flavor- caramelly malts, Lifesaver candy fruitiness, mineral water. Minty/woody finish, lingering peppery aftertaste. Light and slick/oily mouthfeel. Just an okay APA; I get more of a UK than US impression.
