Subtle pilsner malt aroma. No hop aroma to speak of. Nice clear golden color. The head is long lasting. Nice pilsner malt flavor. The hop flavor is subdued. The balance is on the malt side and not the hop side. This is a very middle of the road pilsner. Easy drinking, but nothing noteworthy.

It’s a gateway drug for those who drink fizzy yellow bubbly water from the big 3. This is completely brewed (not high-gravity) and tastes like it. If I had to drink american pilsner, this is the one I’d want. Malty goodness.

My first review for my hometown brewery. Was never a huge Boulevard fan, but this was recommended to me by a friend. Pretty standard American pilsner, pours a typical medium yellow with a nice white head and good lacing. Aroma is faint metallic with a hint of bread. Crisp taste that finishes clean. Would drink again, looking forward to revisiting the Boulevard line-up.

Why do most american pilsners have to be so bland and unexciting...........

Poured from 12oz bottle into pint glass:
Aroma - Golden malt, light herbal hops
Appearance - Straw yellow in color. Thin white head that dissipates quickly leaving no lacing.
Flavor - Slightly sweet malt upfront followed by hint of lemon finishing with nice hop bite.
Palate - Light to medium. Somewhat effervescent on the tongue. Fairly dry on the finish
Overall - I was glad to see Boulevard come out with this. It’s a good take on a traditional style. Nothing fancy or extreme. Just a good, solid, well made beer. I could drink a few on a hot summer day....like today!

Light golden pour with a white head that goes away real quick. Bready grassy smell. Smooth and crisp flavor. Easy drinking and very nice. Perfect for a hot night in the back yard. A real thirst quencher, bud light alternative. I think you get my drift. I will be buying this one again.

Good easy drinking pilsner. Has a little after taste that holds on. Overall it is best served ice cold.

I love BLVD, but this was just not anything I want them to put in regular production. From tap in taster glass @ brewery. light golden pale. Nice head. Thin & short on malty goodness I expect from BLVD. Why even bother with a Pils?

This is a classic example of taking a beer for what it is. As an hoamage to classic American Lager with roots firmly in German/Czech Pilsners this beer is almost perfect. Not much to the nose, beautiful clear gold color, full bodied/mildly hoppy, even somewhat malty (for a pilsner) this beer nails the style while giving us all a reminder what pre-Prohibition lagers were like in the US.

Yellowish color, not too powerful an aroma. Very drinkable, and definitely easy on the taste buds. What else can I say? It’s a good beer.
