COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our town was once home to a number of small, regional breweries, foremost among them the George Muehlebach Brewing Company. As these brewers disappeared, so too went the full flavored but easy drinking classic American lager. Today, we revive their legacy with Boulevard Pilsner: 100% malt, real hop character, unpasteurized. It’s the taste of tradition.

Sampled at Noogfest High 5. Clear yellow pour with a ring of white head. Sweet and standard pilsner but not quite as crisp, creamy with a little hint of banana. Very simple retro label.

Golden pour with somewhat thick white head. Lots of visible carbonation. Aroma of sweet malt, very light leafy hops. Flavor has a lot of bread and crackers, some sweet malt, very slight impression of hops. Not super impressed but its pretty ok for what it portends to be. Lively carbonation, pretty decent mouthfeel. Yeah, pretty OK pils.

Noogfest High 5. Sample from a bottle thanks to heemer77. Simple pale, yellow thin white head. Nice sweet light basic lager. Taste is solid, sweet and grassy. Well made, simple, cool packaging, a solid alternative to macros.

My first review for my hometown brewery. Was never a huge Boulevard fan, but this was recommended to me by a friend. Pretty standard American pilsner, pours a typical medium yellow with a nice white head and good lacing. Aroma is faint metallic with a hint of bread. Crisp taste that finishes clean. Would drink again, looking forward to revisiting the Boulevard line-up.

bottle thanks to swalden28. poured clear yellow with a white head with some spotted lacing. aroma seemed a little bready with a little bit of spice and citrus. flavor was bread, celery, and maybe a little pepper. body was light and crisp with high carbonation.

Bottle. Basic aroma of hops and malt, taste is more or less the same, but for a summer lager it’s classic and well done.

Subtle pilsner malt aroma. No hop aroma to speak of. Nice clear golden color. The head is long lasting. Nice pilsner malt flavor. The hop flavor is subdued. The balance is on the malt side and not the hop side. This is a very middle of the road pilsner. Easy drinking, but nothing noteworthy.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a pale gold with an average white head. Aroma of grain and malt. Tastes clean, crisp, sweet with just a touch of hops. Good effort Boulevard!

Light golden pour with a white head that goes away real quick. Bready grassy smell. Smooth and crisp flavor. Easy drinking and very nice. Perfect for a hot night in the back yard. A real thirst quencher, bud light alternative. I think you get my drift. I will be buying this one again.

A good standard fare in this pilsner line, this brew poured up a crystal clear light amber colored body with a thin head that had minimal retention and lacing effects on the glass. Aromas are very, very faint: grains, hops, malts, and a light lemony scent. Light-bodied and very easy on the drinkability level with a crisp, clean finish that has no bitter or harsh aftertaste.
