Our session IPA is copper in color with just enough malt sweetness and body to provide balance to a beer with bold hop flavor and aroma achieved by big charges of Mosaic hops in the brew house. This beer was dry hopped with a blend of Cascade, Amarillo, Centennial, and Citra.

Pours a slightly hazy straw color. Thin white head with some minor lacing. Hoppy, fruity and mild malty aroma. Light on malt. Decent hop flavor with some nice fruity sweetness. Almost a juicy hop flavor. My favorite session IPA I have tried.

16oz pour at Alewife in Baltimore. Pours a clear dark gold with some sudsy white head. Nose is very inviting, hoppy, fruity, orange, some tropical fruit, mild malt. Flavors follow suit, lightly sweet, bitter citrus, some tropical fruit, wet grass, a little chive. Clean, dry finish. Absolutely crushable.

Bottle from the Beer Dispensary, Apex. Good aroma, sweet. Citrus and vanilla. Clean orange gold color, ok head and lace. Bittersweet flavor. Light body, thin smooth creamy mouthfeel, bitter finish..good perfect session/early beer. Aroma best part, flavor tad less interesting.

Probably the best session IPA I've had yet in regards to quality/price. It misses the mark a bit in body, look, and depth of flavor; but I guess that's what's sacrificed in the name of "sessionable". ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at JFK - picked up at Julio’s. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Bright citrus fruits in the nose, grapefruit, tangerine. Light sweet flavor with pale dry, pale bread, pithy citrus, light flinty minerals, straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Moderately clean on the finish with basic pale malts, rindy bitterness, subtle pine, faint bread, orange, grapefruit and more tangerine. Tasty, simple sessioner.

UPDATED: NOV 17, 2014 Sampled at a Shop & Save event, oddly. It poured a clear golden colour with nice white foam. Subtle grainy maltbill with a definite hops-forward balance. Intense American hoppy flavours and aromas, but not overwhelmingly bitter: grapefruit, orange peel, lemongrass, black pepper, black currant, pine resin. Light body, spritzy carbonation. Crisp, dry finish. Very drinkable and refreshing, an excellent "Session IPA" along the lines of Founders All Day IPA. Well-crafted and tasty.

Draft and Bottle. Pours gold with a white head, good retention/some lace. Aroma of grassy, floral, citrus hop, cracker. Taste is lightly bitter, grassy, herbal, light citrus, light cracker. Palate is soft, a bit thin, light bitter finish.

Wow, they wasted a lot of good hops on a stupid session IPA. Pours a hazy sunny gold with a fine and thorough suspended sediment producing a fluffy eggshell head that leaves some intricate doily lace behind. Nose involves strawberry, blueberry, melon, dusty dough, lightly toasted malt, light grass and pine, light passion fruit, and light citrus notes. Low sweet and bitterness. Medium bodied surprisingly, empty feeling, lightly oily, with a somewhat dry and toasty grainy finish. It’s not a bad beer at all, but it just lacks, and what it lacks is more of it. If this were 6.2% ABV, I could still make a session out of it, and actually enjoy more body, flavor, and aroma. Dumbed down.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent lug gold with white lacing. Smells of juicy hops with a lightly sweet pale malt backbone. Tastes like it smells, but less robust. Average on the palate. Smells better than it tastes.

Short lived, medium sized off white head with fair retention and minimal lacing.Lightly hazy, gold hued brew. quaint nose of pine and citrus, flowery and herbally.Body is light as expected with a soft carbonation and slight acidity, thin but coating on the palate which is kinda distracting.Watered down hop flavors, pine, citrus with faint honey notes, light grains also. Fairly dry finish, tad fruity with an ever so gentle bite. Fairly well balanced i,d say but really not an IPA to me. More of a decent/tame APA. 6er procured at statelineliquors.
