3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle, best by 3/2/14. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a huge frothy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is some sweet sugary fruit with piney resiny hops.
The flavor is sugary tropical fruit with a medium piney hop finish with decent bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied and a little watery.
Overall, a decent session IPA. The flavor is dominated by the sugary tropical fruit rather than the hops. It does have decent bitterness though. Like most session IPAs Iíve had, itís a little thin and watery. I love the idea of session IPAs, but havenít seen one that really succeeds yet.

On tap @ Steakout Saloon. Pours a clear golden appearance with a white head. Quite spicy, grapefruity, a bit piney, fresh hoppy aroma. Big cracker, toasty malty, light lemon, a bit reading hoppy flavor. Pretty good beer.

Pours a heady, foamy, lacy, lightly hazed dark yellow/gold. Nice hoppy aroma, citrus, fruit, floral, juicyness, tropical. Taste is full body, malty bready, good citrus fruit hop flavor. Maybe best 4% session ipa ive had. This would be really great outdoors though, I can see it being in a can if it already isnt. Tastey and refreshingly hoppy.

Sampled at an ESBLS tasting. It poured a lightly hazy golden color with a white head. The aroma was of fresh squeezed oranges, grapes, some pineapple and loads of other fruity and citrusy notes. The taste was of citrus, floral hops and bready malts. It had a nice hop bitterness. Very nice.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle from 6-pack acquired from Berkotís Foods (New Lenox, IL). Pours a mellow hazed darker golden hue. Some fiery orange and darker gold glow on the edges, mellow carbonation bubbles up. Frothy white head atop stays as a decent layer, laces small overall. Aromas show a good dose of citrus, a bit more plain with lemon and grapefruit, firmer florals, touch of spiciness. Mellow bready malt, faint tropical fruit. Some real earthy grass type vibe kinda dumps that Mosaic character off in the weeds though. Solid, even keeled. Initial is lighter end of the fold, some cleaner grainy and bready malt elements make way for a decent dose of citrusy hops. Rind oils and juice start to kick a bit more, gentle tropical fruit. A bit raw and grainy for the cleaner smaller malt body itís offering. Backend is a bit dry, bitter. Some nice hop water presence as this loses a touch of body that these session IPAs generally donít offer, but this one seems to fall off a bit harder. Solid offering but I see myself reaching for an All Day or Lagunitas instead in the future. Solid beer though overall.
