Our session IPA is copper in color with just enough malt sweetness and body to provide balance to a beer with bold hop flavor and aroma achieved by big charges of Mosaic hops in the brew house. This beer was dry hopped with a blend of Cascade, Amarillo, Centennial, and Citra.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a hazy golden color with a one and a half finger white foamy head. The smell had a light citrusy to resinous aroma. The taste was basically the same that lead to a dry bitter finish. On the palate, this one sat pretty light and came across pretty sessionable. The carbonation was fairly smooth and crisp. Overall, Boulevard hit the mark for making a session IPA.

Clear yellow orange white lacing foam head. Strong bitter aroma and taste, nothing else, but that is what I like. Lasting bitter aftertaste. (Houston 201408)

Yellow pour with a small white head and some small floaties (diddnt know it was bottle conditioned). Bready malt and floral, citrusy, earthy and woody hops in the aroma. The flavor starts with some toasted malt and ends up with some nice lemon and slighly resiny hops. Dosent come off dry or biter, but tastes pretty good.

Bottle from Lazy Dog. Pours a very slightly hazy golden with a layer of off white head. Aroma of hops, bread malts, and grains. Taste of bready malts up front, with a slight bitterness on the back end.

Bottle. Clear golden body with a thick quickly vanishing white head. Aroma of grain, mango, grass and flowers. Light sweet taste with mango, grass, banana, bread. Well balanced taste, which ends on the more bitter side, leaving a dry light hopped aftertaste. Enjoyable.

This has a nice amber brass type coloring when poured from the bottle. There is a long lasting off-white head. A nose of flowers and citrus is present along with some bread crust. Hints of sweet donuts are also present. The hop character is up front fading to orange juice on the back end of each drink. Constant bread crust is present through each drink along with some hay and apple core. While this one is a pleasing lightly hoppy ale, I just don’t get excited about these low abv pale ales. To me, this is pretty much an amber with just a slightly lighter body. It’s good, but not great.
