12 ounce bottle. Nice citrus malt. Malt is not too heavy. Not a big hop forward session IPA, but a tasty easy to drink one.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Can @ home. Clear golden orange pour with a tall, dense, sticky, white head. Smells of fresh orange and grapefruit. Zesty, floral, and bready. Nice hints of pine as well. Flavor and lightly bitter. Plenty of juicy, zesty citrus and bright floral hops. Good malt character and body. Crushable.

A: Pours very heady hazy orange gold. 2" of beige foam lingers a good while. Actually dogged retention leaving good lace around the glass. Little to no visible carbonation.
S: Light and piney with just a whiff of sweet citrus. Not much else to report.
T: Also piney with slightly less citrus bite. Light flavor includes a slight stiff maltiness. Not complex or honestly even interesting.
M: Light body with a fair amount of carbonation on the tongue. Average.
O: Had high hopes based on others’ but ultimately disappointed. I STILL have not had a BLVD beer that I particularly like. For $10/6, there are many better SIPAs to choose from.

12 oz. can. Poured hazy orange with off white head and splotches of lace. Bready, light grass, subtle citrus notes. Little disappointing.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours bright gold with a slight white head. Aroma has lots of interesting fruits. Not quite med body. Flavor is a bit papery after the hop melts away. Hop is fairly complex for me, but it isn’t really very intense. A nice little session ale, very flavorful given the ABV, but it is rather moderate by today’s flavor standards. I’d take it to the lake!

For me it drinks more like a blonde ale with a touch of hops. Not a ton of flavor but light and refreshing.

3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
fragrant flowery hop fruity with some pith obvious in the finish. seemingly sweet and bitter and in my mind not very balanced with cereal. finish is tangy and dry. like to see this at 5.0% maybe even 6.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A lightly hazy golden yellow color. A few bubbles stick to the side of my glass, from the thin white head. The aroma is nice, lightly floral hops blend well with citrus and earthy hop spice with just a touch of soft cereal malt. The flavors are right in line, crisp hoppy flavors, citrus, and some earthy hop resin, with just a hint of pale malt, a touch musky, but helps balance the beer. A really enjoyable session IPA from Boulevard.
