COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The French-speaking region of southern Belgium is the birthplace of saison, the love child of a centuries-old tradition of small rural "farmhouse" breweries, where native yeasts and time-honored recipes combined to produce some of the world’s most distinctive beers. As a tribute to this artisanal institution, we offer our own brisk, unruly Saison. Truly an artful balancing act, it is both rustic and subtle, robust yet effervescent, spicy and fruity.

750 ml. A marz atmosphere yellow orange cloudy atmosphere. Lacy. Aroma has notes of apple, earthy, sawdust wood, Citrusy, caramel, alcohol, and yeast. Tingling finish lingers light bitter and finishes very dry. Flavor starts spicy, soft, sweet, and ends bitter and with light biting. Dry and only dry

Fairly clear golden color with a booming white head. The aroma is funk, floral and fresh fruits, I’m thinking pear, apple and banana. Light-bodied, crisp and very refreshing. The flavors are barnyard funk and fruity, mostly the same noted in the aroma with perhaps the addition of peaches. I pick up some clove as well. A light acidic spice mixes in nicely bringing the flavors together. This isn’t overly complex but just flat out tasty and drinkable with no real flaw and I’m fine with that. A damn fine drink really.

Bottle. Pours a light gold with a thick white head. Aroma is full of yeast with fruity citrus notes and some floral notes. Flavor starts with grapefruit notes and becomes yeasty with slight floral notes. Nice and light on the tongue.

750 ml. Hazy depp gold body with a huge, frothy white head, mostly lasting. Yeasty aroma of cobwebs with a hint of lacquer and pepper. Notes of toasted grain, citrus, orange, flowers, lemon, sugar. The flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter and lightly acidic. Dry, Medium to full body, watery turning velvety texture, lively carbonation. The beer starts sweet with tastes of orange and pineapple, but turns nicely bitter with a lingering flavor of flowers in the finish. The bitterness lasts. A quality and interesting saison.

Happy to see that citywide liquors is now getting these. Bottle pours a hazy golden with a BIG foamy white head. Aroma is hay, grass, mellons, clove, banana, and spices. Really good beer. Hit the spot.

Very light pale straw colored pour. White head with good carbonation and lots of bubbles. Sweet fruity and floral aroma. Slightly sour and dry taste with lots fruity notes. A little sugar to finish. Very crisp and refershing.

Decent offering, but lacks anything to set it apart. Middle tier Saison that makes it very drinkable, but does not have anything to set itself apart from others brewed in this style.

THis beer pours a gold color with a nice white head. SMell of fruit (bananas, citrus) with spices. Flavor of spice with a hint of fruit. Decent lacing and goes down really easy.
