750ml Bottle: Aroma of yeast, fruit, pale malt, pear, and a hint of spice. Poured yellow/slight amber in color with a large, creamy, pillowy, off-white head that greatly diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Sparkling. Full of tiny and small particles throughout. Very good lacing. Flavor is light to medium sweet. Tastes of yeast, fruit, pear, slight hops, slight malt, and slight spice. Medium body. Smooth, lightly tingly, then lightly dry texture. Average carbonation. Yeast, fruit, slight hop, and slight spice finish is lightly dry. Very drinkable.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 temporrari (360) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUL 20, 2010
Golden color with a white head. This is a pretty clean tasting brew, but there is definitely some spicy yeast character. The carbonation is quite lively. Slightly dry finish, which I enjoy. Overall this is a keeper, and something I could drink often. Not at the price, though, and it’s retired anyway. I wish I had tried it when it was really fresh. Seems to be holding up nicely, in any case. Maybe I’ll try to Brett version, but I’m afraid it will be too funky for me.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 thedm (4118) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - JUL 10, 2010
This bottled brew from a beer festival poured a small sized head of foamy white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a uncarbonated transparent yellow colored body and a good lacing. The mild aroma was citrus floral and malty. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of floral and malt. An OK brew just nothing special.
4.5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 AJofDenver (71) - Colorado, USA - JUL 1, 2010
The aroma is very fruit foward banana orange peel. The appearance is a bright golden color that ia over the top cloudy-but in a good way! There is a small amount of pepper with a fruit/ citrus closing.
4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 MrChopin (2065) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - JUL 1, 2010
Bottle thanks to masterhomebrewer (BA)! Batch S8093 pours effervescent hazy yellow-gold with a rocky white head. Delicate nose, lightly buttery and peppery with a dry yeasty note and unripe pears. Flavor is grainy and a bit off (magic marker), stinging body also bringing more apple and pear on the mid palate and then a decent hop bitterness (earthy with warmth) through the very long finish. Very subtle throughout, almost mistakable for a pilsner in some aspects, and insanely drinkable. Had the flavor been complete, this would be among the best saisons I’ve had.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 marcus (3776) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUN 23, 2010
Pours cloudy yellow gold with a a massive white head that subsides rather quickly and a funky yeast and fruit aroma. The flavor elicits a typical farmhouse feeling, with yeast, fruit and peppery spice as the prominent features. A very nice saison.

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2011 very solid; straw color pour with above average white head. There are several things happening in the taste of this beer that I am not experienced enough to figure out - nothing stands out (that is a positive); everything works together real well; share with Dad on Father’s day - Two high marks!! will grab some of the last ones off the shelf..
bumped slightly on 6/11 re-taste
