Boulevard Single-Wide I.P.A. is our take on a style that originated in 18th century Great Britain. This American version—inspired by our Smokestack Series Double-Wide I.P.A.—boasts a heady combination of six varieties of hops, some of which were employed for dry-hopping.

Good not great IPA. Very dry cracker malts, one-dimensional hop presence, vague citrus nose with a lemon-rind bitterness in the flavor. Very dry with a body close to a session IPA.

Transparent copper-coloured beer with a huge, frothy, white head. Smell is lots of citrus with complex background. Resin, peels, leather, white pepper, bready. Hint of caramel, roses, maybe cherries. Taste is dry and crisp. Typical astringent finish but more warming. Watery and refreshing.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Coventry, webshop, consumed at home, Saturday 4th July 2015 Gold in colour with a white sticky head. On the nose there is a little yeasty aroma but this is intertwined with a touch of floral orange blossom. Tingly hops in the mouth, but they are not so assertive (this disappoints me a little), a little citrus (orange again showing) but it’s also got a light tropical touch. I like it l, it’s a perfect fridge beer but bettered by others in that category A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

The second of Boulevard’s beers which will be thrown onto the Belgian market by Moortgat, already for sale now in the Mitra shops in the Netherlands. Hazy orangey blonde under a creamy, medium sized, egg-white head. Aroma of orange, pineapple, peach, pink grapefruit, pine resin, lychee, some wheat, celery, caramel, some soapy wheat. Taste crisp and exotically fruity, sweet pineapple, mango, orange freshness, soft carbo, smooth caramelly malt sweetness, bit honeyish, some very softly sourish wheat, long and very hoppy, bittering and drying finish, very citrussy, piney, resiny, but still allowing some juicy malt sweetness to come through. Well balanced.

Pours cloudy golden with a thick white head. The aroma is citrus grapefruit, caramel, malt. The flavoer is citrus through with a stong malt backbone. Flavoers of bread and biskets, some earthy with pine flavors. Palate is middle, not to heavy. Overall pretty good I would buy again

Bottles from Booths, Keswick and Coppers, Newcastle. A hazy golden coloured beer that pours with a quickly disappearing large rocky head of foam. It has orange marmalade and pine flavours with citrus and tropical notes followed by a floral fruity, malty and hoppy finish.
