3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle from Market of Choice. consumed as the last beer in my "Drink a new craft beer for every day of Oregon Craft Beer month" in July. Poured dark golden with a thick white head and nice lacing. Aroma was heavy on citrus hop notes with some pine and quite a bit of caramel malt. Flavor was the same, a little maltier than I would prefer but still a good brew.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Yet another Boulevard I got to try from the sample pack, thanks again to my bro/sis-in-law, nice cloudy amber pour, large head. Very citrusy and hoppy. Taste is what I’ve come to expect from an American micro-brewed IPA. Nice balance with a hoppy finish. A great IPA and another great one from Boulevard.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
[Bottle] Pours a darker shade of gold with lots of white head. Initial aroma of sweet citrus mellows out to more of a floral hop character. Crisp hoppy notes in the flavor. A good amount of light caramel malts balance this one well. A light and oily hop finish. A solid and well made IPA.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Apricot pour with a sufficient white head. Scents of strong pine and citrus. Citrus flavor with a dry finish. Dry hops so I can see why some may not prefer this beer, but I find it to be quite good, refreshing, and somewhat unique. Another good effort from Boulevard, who’s quickly becoming a favorite of mine for their ability to do many styles well.

Bottled (at Chriso).
Pale yellow, small white head. Citrusy hoppy aroma. Crisp carbonation. Fruity, mango-citrusy flavor. Hoppy and fruity. Quite nice, but simple.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottled. Golden colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruity hops, some flowery notes, mild earthyness as well as grass. Flavour is quite much the same. Dull and boring.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Nice, refreshing, and drinkable. The hops lean towards bitter and slightly astringent. I’d dig more of that fresh hop flavor like the aroma has.

smells a little saaz-y, with citrus and strong caramel. flavor leans toward the lemony, with toast and alittle vinegar, not quite harsh. crisp yellow color w/ moderate white head. thin in the mouht and dry on the tongue

3.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
What a good beer! The IBU count is integrated into the hay-like (it’s the wheat) malt character to point that if seems somewhere between a pale ale and an IPA. Lots of deep hop character here, not just bitterness. This would be a great jumping off point for someone who was ready to try hoppier beers.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
huge foamy head, standard gold hue. aroma is of clean malts foremost suprisingly with subtle resin in the background. flavor is extremely clean and crisp, very well balanced. this makes for a stellar APA and a weak IPA. hops are extremely underwhelming. all the same, this is extremely sessionable and one i would buy often if available.
