Boulevard Single-Wide I.P.A. is our take on a style that originated in 18th century Great Britain. This American version—inspired by our Smokestack Series Double-Wide I.P.A.—boasts a heady combination of six varieties of hops, some of which were employed for dry-hopping.

1. Look – A pale amber IPA with a frothy white head and good carbonation. 2. Sniff – It has a very citrusy nose with a somewhat fruity aroma. 3. Sip – This medium bodied IPA has a mild orange peel flavor with soft bitter finish. Also, there is almost a bubble gum flavor aftertaste that is very subtle. 4. Another Look – This IPA has a long lasting white head with very good lacing. 5. Evaluate – Overall, this is IPA is well balanced with a tasty malt character and a citrusy aroma and flavor. I would recommend this IPA to anyone who enjoys IPA’s –but also those who enjoy mildly bitter ales with a big citrus flavor.

Sample at KC Beerfest 10-22. Comes a hazy gold with an average white head. Nice aroma of hops and citrus. Taste is similar. Well balanced. Will try again for sure!

Surprised by this. Appearance is murky orange/amber with light offwhite head. Aroma is tart apples, berries, and bread. Taste is crisp and lightly sweet with light bitter finish. Flavors are fruity and delicate. Very drinkable and tasty.

UPDATED: FEB 25, 2013 Tasted from bottle into nucleated pint glass. Pours a bright, light-amber color with fluffy off-white foam. Powerful aromas of rising bread and flowery hops. Great tasting grainbill: some mild pale, caramel, and toasted. Fruity ale fermentation and sparkling carbonation. Medium-body with nice chewy mouthfeel. Great, long-lasting bittersweet aftertaste. A delicious and well-crafted beer.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Indianapolis. Pours a hazy orange color with a large frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of citrus hops. The taste is citrus hops, some leafy and tea-like notes. Pale malts. Thin-medium bodied. Average carbonation. Very simple, but pretty good.

This brew is insanely delicious! Intensely good hoppy hit right off the bat! Very aromatic and I was totally blown away with this IPA! Robust flavors of sweet caramel and burnt sugars linger long afterwards. Excellent with a homemade beef pot pie!

Boulevards best widely distributed beer. Great balance, nothing overpowering. Tastes like toasted pine with some orange and lemon.

Decent IPA. Less aggressively hopped than other ipa’s which makes it very drinkable. Aroma and palate could be better, but I have always enjoyed boulevard’s unfiltered style.
