COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Single-Wide I.P.A. is our take on a style that originated in 18th century Great Britain. This American version—inspired by our Smokestack Series Double-Wide I.P.A.—boasts a heady combination of six varieties of hops, some of which were employed for dry-hopping.

Pours a hazy pale orange with okay head retention and some lacing. Nose is More malt than hops. Mouth is light to medium bodied and very dry for an IPA, with some malt and tropical fruit (pineapple), some lemon. Not sure but I think this one has wheat in it... definitely has that wheaty dryness. Different (less hoppy... could be an older bottle maybe.. but still before the ’best by’ date) than a lot of IPAs I’ve had lately, but still decent.

12oz bottle poured a clear golden-orange hue with large frothy mostly lasting head and good lacing. Aromatic with aromas of grapefruit, spruce, orange, straw, and faint horse blanket. Flavor is bitter initially and on the finish. Taste is grain, fruits, and citrus. Dry texture, lively carbonation, and light body.

Lightly hazed, bright amber appearance with a large, off white head and good lacing. Resinous hop aroma with citrus in the background. Role reversal for the taste; citrus flavors are more prominent with a subtle sweetness beneath the surface. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, carbonation is decent and the lingering aftertaste is dry and bitter.

12oz bottle in a shaker. Pours amber with a lacy, cream-colored head. Aroma of citrusy hops, some bread, and caramel malts. Flavor the same. Average texture. A decent IPA but not the best.

Bottle from the singles section at Cardinal in Niles. Pours a foamy unclear straw color leaving a lot of foamy lacing. Aroma has citrus and pine with more pine. Taste is of lemony citrus, pine, faint caramel underneath. An easy drinker. Finishes bitter with some sweetness. Not overwhelmingly bitter. Probably better than other times I have had this, but not a top tier IPA; just a easy drinker.

Hoppy citrus aroma, fruity, pear and pineapple, grass notes, grapefruit notes, creamy, some earthy notes and perfume. Hoppy perfume flavor, hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, pine notes, peach, woody, hay, some metal notes. Quite balanced and still fresh. Bitter metal finish with hay, citrus and pine.
