Boulevard Single-Wide I.P.A. is our take on a style that originated in 18th century Great Britain. This American version—inspired by our Smokestack Series Double-Wide I.P.A.—boasts a heady combination of six varieties of hops, some of which were employed for dry-hopping.

Bottle:   Vibrant orange, strong carbonation, large white frothy head, nice lacing.   Sweet nose of hops and citrus peel.   A bit floral on the tongue, good amount of bitterness up front.   Soft finish.   Very easy to drink.   On the lighter side, but a bit bigger than your average Pale Ale.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Soft citrusy sweetness throughout.   Not bad, could stand to be a little bit bigger.

A hazy, copper-orange pour with white head. It has a wonderful bittersweet, citrus aroma. The medium body has an oily texture with lively carbonation. The initial taste is lightly sweet, but it is quickly followed by a long, dry, bitter finish.

Bottle. Bright golden and quite active with a nice firm white head. This drinks with a tangy, hoppy sting, almost enough to make me pucker. Quite enjoyable. (#4054, 12/25/2010)

Pours amber with a nice head. Aroma...not a lot there. Taste is pine / citrus hops with a little malt backbone. Not quite as good as my few favorite IPAs, but still decent. Not sure I’d seek it out again, but worth a try if you haven’t had it yet. Will share one with the hop-head buddies for the heck of it. 12 oz bottle from Friar Tuck in Springfield, IL.

Bottle. Nice burnt amber pour, average off white head. Aroma of pine and citrus hops, laid over a sweet maltiness. Taste is same but stronger, medium body with nice lingering finish. I would gladly buy this one again.

A pretty standard IPA, nothing really stands out too much, Finnish is good.

bottle thanks to Creedon, pours orange with a tall off white head. Aroma is strong citrus hop notes of grapefruit and orange peel. Flavor is sweet and sour pale malts, grass, and orange juice. Finishes dry with a healthy dose of resinous hops.

The beer pours a dark yellow color with a white head. The aroma is orange and pine hops. The flavor is orange and lemon hops as well as some bready and caramel malt. There is a nice grassy character to the flavor as well. Low to medium bitterness. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. A very nice, easy drinking IPA.

12 oz. bottle from the local QFC. Fluffy head sits on top of a nice hazy orange appearance. This IPA looks great. This has a nice, pungent aroma. Grapefruit, and a little pine come through. It’s [the aroma] not as crisp as some of the other IPAs that I love e.g. Two Hearted. This beer has a lovely grapefruit, citrus hop aroma. Very clean taste. I don’t know if this is fresh, but it has a "Best By" date of 3/13/11. This has a nice texture. Nothing completely over-the-top, but it is a solid IPA.

The appearance of this beer has a soft clear orange liquid with a creamy white head. The aroma of the beer starts with a sweet hay like malt and ends with spruce like citrus. The taste of this beer starts with sweet body with a medium bitter ending. A great IPA!
