Boulevard Single-Wide I.P.A. is our take on a style that originated in 18th century Great Britain. This American version—inspired by our Smokestack Series Double-Wide I.P.A.—boasts a heady combination of six varieties of hops, some of which were employed for dry-hopping.

Bottle - Amber with a white head. Fresh aroma with peach and grapefruit. The taste is hoppy with tangy grapefruit and peaches in syrup. The finish is hoppy with a slight sweetness and some aniseed hints.

Medium, off-white head over well-carbonated, orange-golden beer. C-hops, chalk, some spices or garden herbs, not specified. Flattish-sweet, with more hoppy notes, rather than full hoppy flavour. Not a WestCoast IPA, for sure. Medium bodied, very slick. Steven, buy a good load of Amarillo and/or Simcoe, close your eyes, and start adding. No stopping.

Bottle. Poured deep orange with full white head. Much lacing. Citrus, and piney aroma. Light citrus and hop flavour, not as full as one might guess from the aroma. Light bitter finish. Still well worth drinking.

Nice amber coloured body with copper hues and a light tan head. Aroma of fresh hops, a lot of malt, caramel and a bit of citrus. Medium-bodied; Strong assertive hops up front with more subdued and balanced malt behind. Aftertaste shows some caramel, flowers and a mild citrus taste to round out the obtuse hops. Overall, a good, but not outstanding IPA. Heavily hopped, but the malt comes out a lot and the other taste of flavours also shines through. I sampled this beer on draught from TapWerks in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 02-September-2009.

A Mes rate. Bottle thanks to Tom.
Hazy dark gold with a very good white head. Now this is more like. We have had a run of very average US IPAs. Thankfully this one stands out from everything else we have had tonight. Good bitterness. Pleasant mineral notes. Good grassy hit in the finish. Straight forward but enjoyable. Slight soapy aftertaste but it’s not a spoiler.

Bottle. Pours a pitted, frothy, almost creamy white head. Lasting. Golden to light orange body - clear with some yeast cloudiness. Floral, citric hop nose along with some pine. Grapefruit and orange come through in the flavor along with some light, sweet crystal malt. Light-medium body, moderate carbonation, with a clean, crisp, pleasantly bitter finish. Tasty, under control, sessionable IPA. Two thumbs up.

Bottle shared from Justin’s Vorrat. Great hoppy nose, tons of aromatics / dry hop notes (definite Cascade and probably Centennial), pig PNW fruitiness wihtout any hint of resin. Light pine, squeezed orange, grapefruit, just love the citrus. Orange-tinged golden pour, clear with a meringue-rocky lacing head. Mildly bready bitterness, assertive but not aggressive or harsh, has the smooth SN texture. Drenched with juice, musty hops. Reminds of a great IPA I just can’t name. Smooth wet hop taste and feel, mellow and dry aftertaste. Delicious and repeatable enough for a case.

Thanks to MrBunn. Pours a murky yellow orange with a reasonable head. Smell is great of Centennials and Cascades. Flavor is great of pine and citrus...some good grapefruit in there. Finishes lightly bitter. When topped with a fresh Centennial hop cone its fantastic.

Light color with a thick head that lasted. Nice aroma. Light for an IPA, with nice hop taste without being overpowering. Little malt flavor, but its done well. Slight bitterness at the end. Very drinkable beer.
