Boulevard Single-Wide I.P.A. is our take on a style that originated in 18th century Great Britain. This American version—inspired by our Smokestack Series Double-Wide I.P.A.—boasts a heady combination of six varieties of hops, some of which were employed for dry-hopping.

Single Wide is nectar for the gods. You know, the hops, the citrus goodness in the taste is too soon forgotten, and I know I can buy more, so I do. Just to make sure how good it is, more is required. Boulevard does a top notch job in brewing Single Wide. You have to give them all of the credit. I thank them for Single Wide every day.

Bottle @ Cafe de Zaak, BB Jan 2016, large sample. Slight hazy yellow to golden color, medium frothy white head. Aroma is slight grassy, bit citrus, slight spicy. Bit weak actually. Soft bitter in taste, bit grainy malt. Very very disappointing. Feels like a belgian hoppy blonde almost. Not fresh enough?

Nose is mostly grapefruit rind, sweet malt, pine. Flavor is basically the same plus a little floral character. Clean and inoffensive but very generic.

355ml bottle. Clear golden amber colour, white foamy head leaving lacing and aroma of tropical fruits, peach, citrus, hoppy. Taste is malt caramel with fruity peach, orange, grapefruit and woody pine bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy earthy bitter finish. Very drinkable IPA.

355ml bottle. Barely clear, brass colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Piney and resinous, hoppy aroma, a citrusy touch, minimally nuttily, malty background. Taste is dry hoppy, slightly piney and citrusy, a touch of lemon. Quite simple, monotonous, boring.

Aroma is of really skunky hops. A bit like cannabis. Flavour of resinous and skunky hop. Fairly light bodied and easy to drink.

Rav farget med et massivt skum. nydelig og kraftig duft med ananas og litt skog. Smaken følger sammen med en behagelig fruktig bitterhet.
