3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pros: Excellent look, the beer is clearly a natural ale. Large frothy foam that lasts well. Light golden color. Nose has some potent hop elements. Flavor has lots of taste, is well balanced.
It’s hard not to like a natural, well made IPA like this. I’m not blown away, but this beer is of the highest quality, no doubt.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
The least interesting of the IPAs I had tonight. This one pours blonde with decent head and lacing. Some mild citrus, but mostly just generic hops and malt. Light bitterness. Tap at Rustico.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A- Citrus, hops, subtle, spices.
A- Orange color, cloudy liquid, white head.
P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, crisp finish.
O- A very good IPA and one of which I find to be very smooth and easy to drink. I do prefer their Double Wide over this one quite a bit, but there is most certainly nothing wrong with this brew. Everything is balanced well and drinks in a session-able way.

2.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
330ml bottle. Amber body with a beigeish head. Overall a nice beer, but it feels closer to a Pale Ale than IPA, as it’s quite easy on the hops.

12oz bottle from Georgio’s, Billerica, MA. An amber pour with a loose cream head; tropical fruit aroma; soft tropical fruit taste with a creamy, malty body; some grapefruit and pineapple to finish. A fresh and fruity IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a nice clear amber with a good pale tan head. Aroma is quite hoppy, more resiny than woody, inviting a taste. Hoppy flavor is mostly evergreen with hints of Mandarin orange, grapefruit and pear. Firm, fizzy texture leaves a resiny and tingly finish. Single wide, but doubly good!

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
355cl bottle at O’Hara’s, BBE 2/2014
Yellow to orange beer with a white big head. Aroma has tropical fruits such as mango with lots of caramelly sweetness and some citrus. Taste is mostly just bitter caramel as the bottle is a year old. Finish is quite long and bitter with a medium full and slightly biting palate. The bottle is old, I can only guess how great this could be fresh. Don’t even think of drinking fresh beers at O’Hara’s Tampere because they think IPA’s can’t go bad since alcohol and hops are preservatives!
