Boulevard Single-Wide I.P.A. is our take on a style that originated in 18th century Great Britain. This American version—inspired by our Smokestack Series Double-Wide I.P.A.—boasts a heady combination of six varieties of hops, some of which were employed for dry-hopping.

Pours a beautiful orange with nice white head...lots of lacing. Aroma of grapefruit and citrus. Taste the floral bitterness on the front end but finishes crisp. A "go to" IPA ----Hophaze out

12oz bottle from Xroads. Are you kidding me?? Boulevard just came to NJ this week and this isnthe best IPA they have? Poured golden body with a smaller foamy white head. Aroma and flavor flat out suck for an IPA. Notes of honey topped bread and dust dominate the aroma. Flavor of crackers, grains and dry toast. This is a pitiful IPA, or really old which is pitiful for the brewery to be sending to a brand new market.

12oz bottle, from Dutch’s. Best by stamp reads 7/19/15... More than 6 month shelf-life? Yeah, okay... Clear orange color, with a bigger white head. Good bready malt, grassy hop. A satisfying level of spicy piney resiny hop. Light to moderate sweet taste, light to moderate bitter. Medium body. Smooth, kind of soft kind of crisp lighter carbonation, mildly dry finish. A solid, lighter-bodied IPA... I enjoy the grassy and white-breadiness of it. Pretty easy-drinking. I can’t imagine this tasting good 3 months from now though, never mind 6 months...

Boulevard Single-Wide IPA is a nice drinking example of the style. Moderate hop aroma rising from a orange-yellow pour with a decent head. Taste is distinctly tropical making this beer very thirst-quenching. There is just enough hop bite at the end buy not enough to knock out the tropical flavors. Not real complex, but solid just the same. Single-wide is a good for drinking in the trailer park and other places, too.

Definitely more of an English style IPA. Lots of crackery biscuit malts dominate the flavor. Definitely can get some of the hops but it’s not a hop bomb or a big citrus and tropical beer like Double Wide. Still really clean and drinkable. One of the better English style IPA’s I’ve had.

Pours yellow-gold with a medium white head. Aroma is light tropical hops - mango & citrus. Taste is the same as the aroma up front leading to some straw-like grainy malts and a long medium bitter finish. Not bad.

Pours a hazy golden color with pillowy white head. A tad on the bitter side, but otherwise enjoyable

Hazy gold with a half-finger of cream colored head that hangs around pretty well. Lacing is nice as well. Clean, piney nose. Taste is similar with nice balance and a clean finish. Not as potent as I like an IPA to be, but solid nonetheless.

Solid IPA. This ipa has a great balance of hops and citrus undertones. Overall good brew.

Very clean, late ’40’s neon graphics on the label. Squat 12 oz bottle. Clear, light citrine color, thin white head. Fresh, hoppy, but generic AIPA aroma. Fairly bitter, citrus pith, nicely hopped. Tangerine tones. Some off, sulphury notes. Starchy mouthfeel that turns a little acidic, then falls off rapidly. Gets a lot fruitier as it warms. Not bad, generally pretty clean, a safe choice at the grocery but not the one to pick when you’ve got a choice of 75 taps. Last rating for November 2014, alas. ABC, Bull Run.
