COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Single-Wide I.P.A. is our take on a style that originated in 18th century Great Britain. This American version—inspired by our Smokestack Series Double-Wide I.P.A.—boasts a heady combination of six varieties of hops, some of which were employed for dry-hopping.

Bottle post GBBF, Day 2, August 2009. Quite pale amber colour. Nice enough condition. A solid hoppy IPA. Lots of grapefruit and some pine resin. Retains a high degree of drinkability. Maybe relatively standard fare in US terms but nicely done.

Aroma of fruits, citrus, floral notes, some yeast, malt, hops. Flavour is medium bitter. Well, this is a fine pleasant floral-ish beer. It’s not a stellar IPA though, too muted. Overall pretty enjoyable.

Bottle: Shaker: Big creamy head. Hazy yellow body. Nose of hops, herbs, tea herbs and some hoppy fruit like some apricot and light citrus. Flavour is bitter, herbal, floral, grass, light pine/spruce, hint of hop fruits and a light sharp edge. Aftertaste is grassy bitter with some herbal hop tones. Low carbo, between watery and creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied. First aroma and flavour were nice but went slowly downhill from there. Very decent IPA though.

Bottle 355ml, a clear copper beer with huge head. Nose is resinous and honey like with exotic fruits. Aroma is quite sweet with caramel, light honey, good hops resin and exotic fruits, quite robust, pleasant.

Bottle from Rehills of Jesmond. Pours golden with a beige head. The aroma is quite floral with tropical fruits. The taste starts with light spice before peach, mango and pineapple. The finish is pleasantly bitter. There’s some tea in there too. Pleasant, but lacking something in the body department.

Bottle at Woody's in Kingston. Pleasant citrus flavours and a great hit of dry, floral hops with hints of pine. Cracking beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Lemony aroma. Clear light gold color. Good body. Bitterness is a little prickly. Some pine & grapefruit rind in the flavor.

Solid ipa, starts with a very nice nose. Like the earlier ipas, not overly aggressive, probably a pale ale by todays standards. Good stuff made early on in the craft beer boom.

Bottle at home. Hazy golden pour, foamy white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, slightly tropical, some grains, a hint of straw and some grass. Flavor is bitter, fruity and slightly spicy. Nice citrussy hops, slightly messy, but well drinakble.

Bottle at home, poured a clear dark golden colour with a Nice white head on top. Nose of fresh citrus, with some sweet grapefruit, caramel, and a slight oily pine notice. Nose of slight malts, and citrus, slight notice of red fruits. Not so hoppy, and quite watery. Was expecting a bit more
